Check the website. They have a help number. I installed the valve in my America Standard toilet. Works fine after 3 years. **Q: Does it fit a small tank?** A: adjustable so it should fit all tanks.just need to read instructions on how to adjust stem. **Q: Replaced stock fluidmaster valve after 13 strong years. However the new 400a valve is quite loud when filling. Anyone else experience this?** A: We had to return this one, since we ordered the incorrect one. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Why fight it ?! *by F***M on Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2018* I guess you can spend twice as much for some colored top or fancy schmancy gizmo if you want to, but the fact is this part works great, is easy to install (gee takes about 10 minutes), and lasts quite a while. When your toilet bowl won't refill after you flush, just take the old float unit out and slap one of these beauties in there, viola, you are on the road again! As far as noise is concerned I don't see where this one makes any more or less noise than any other one. Come on get real ! Its a toilet refilling, how loud can this be? And besides, if you don't hear noise, then you have a problem as this will mean the bowl isn't refilling at all. For those intimidated by the job just valve out the water at the wall below the toilet, flush to clear the water and dry out the bowl a bit with a towel to sop up leftover water, then remove the water line into the bowl by unscrewing the fitting where the water line goes into the tank and remove the old unit from the inside of the bowl along with the old water line attached to it inside the tank. Just put the new unit in, tighten the outside fitting, put on the new water line and thats it. You may need to adjust the water level in the tank by moving the adjustment up or down as instructions describe, not hard. Ok it takes far longer to write this than it does to do the job.
