But have no fear that these are unacceptable cheap. I have some of the expensive ones, but after seeing what you can get for much less I will not make that mistake again. These are well made and should serve well in all but the most extreme applications. I am up to three sets of these in different colors, and some friends have seen the light and gotten them as well. There are a couple of potential weaknesses to be found if you go too cheap on these kinds of pouches. One, the fabric and stitching. As I said, these appear to be well-made and I see nothing to indicate a premature failure may occur in this area. The other potential weak point is of course the zipper. New, the zipper works great and doesn't indicate it will be an issue either. Only time and use will tell, but seriously, at about $7.50 each, I have no concern about getting my money's worth. I am using these to organize the contents of a larger pack, so they will be protected from a lot of wear and tear relative to putting one on a belt, or attached to the exterior of something. In this application I expect they will outlive the pack. Zipper appears to be sturdy and durable, as well as the straps and snaps to attach it to a larger bag. I answered 4 for water resistance because like any other canvas type pouch, it will repel for a bit, but prolonged exposure will eventually cause it to absorb water. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, but Bigger than I had thought. *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2023* Got these to make an IFAK to keep in my car and on my person. I know that the listing has the dimensions posted, but I still thought that it would be smaller. I do not carry one on my person because it is way too big to have on my belt comfortably. The pouch is a little tight at first, but I managed to get everything I needed to get inside, inside. I would recommend stuffing the pouch with the items you intend to keep in there, then emptying it a few times to "Break it in". I feel this would allow the pouch to conform to your items better so that you're not having to squeeze everything inside. The Zipper quality is okay, nothing special, but certainly not junk. The OD color is rather ugly and the MOLLE on the back seems a little frail. Only time will tell if it fails, but so far after owning these for maybe 5 months, there has been no issues I have experienced.
