Review: A solid gaming pad at a reasonable price - This is my second SteelSeries mousepad, having owned a Steelseries QCK Mini which held up well for over 5 years before the wear and tear started affecting the tracking of my mouse. Steelseries, as many gamers would know is a well known brand, used by many professional eSports players and my experience so far is that their reputation is well earned. I am using it with a Logitech G402, and have so far tested it mostly with Counterstrike Global Offensive and Age of Empires. Do note that this is a Speed pad so the lower friction may take some getting used to if you are coming from a pad which has more roughness to it hence you may need to drop your in game sensitivity slightly. The size of the pad is big enough that if you use your arm to aim (lower sensitivity / DPI) as opposed to wrist aiming in First Person Shooters then you do have enough "real estate" so to speak for you to move the mouse around in. The size also makes it less suitable for small desks and lowers portability, which is a trade off that I as a desktop gamer am fulling to accept.
