## Description

Save paint, time and money using the Masterson Palette Seal. This airtight container safely holds any type of paint palette between sessions. For Oils, place your favorite type of palette – wood, glass, plastic or paper – into the Palette Seal tray and snap on the lid. Your paints will stay fresh for many days-even weeks when they’re sealed in the airtight Masterson Palette Seal. For acrylics and other water-miscible paints, use Masterson’s patented Sta-Wet Premier Acrylic Paper and Sponge (sold separately). The sponge, when moistened and combined with Masterson’s Acrylic Palette Paper, maintains a moist “atmosphere” inside the Artist Palette Seal. You will be ready to continue painting up to weeks later when you store your paints in a patented Masterson storage container. **Please note that a palette is not included in the Artist Palette Seal** Made in the USA of durable yet lightweight injection molded plastic. Review: Does the job - My glass palette fits into this box perfectly. The lid is a bit stiff at first but it will become more flexible in time. It seals well if you follow the fitting instructions . I was using cling film to cover my palette which was messy. This is a bit pricey but it's well made and sturdy.
Review: It works! - I had always used the Daler Rowney Stay Wet pallet for both acrylics then alkyd oils, but while it worked in keeping them wet for longer, the quality of the plastic was brittle and prone to crack after a while. Also ridiculously expensive for a couple of pieces of moulded plastic! So thought I'd try this. Cheaper than the Stay - Wet even coming from USA, I've been delighted so far with it. I line it with household grease proof paper and squeeze out my alkyds on that. Even after three days the alkyds were usable if slightly tacky. Now if I'm going to be leaving them for more than a day I spray lightly with low odour solvent and the paints stay wet. As someone else has said, you need to go right round each side, pressing down to ensure a good seal, but it works well. Really pleased!

It’s a great box to keep oil paints from drying out as well as carry it safely without making a mess. However, I do think that it’s is a little bit too expensive.
