I already have one so I wasn't too worried about it. **Q: does the sp play original gameboy games, or just the gba and gameboy color** A: The SP model of the GBA will play GameBoy, GameBoy Color, and GameBoy Advance titles from any region. The only GBA without backwards compatibility was the GameBoy Micro.
