This is just the nesting box. You hang it on your coop wall and then you can put whatever kind of nesting bedding into it you want to use. I personally use chopped straw inside mine, which I buy at the local feed store. **Q: how do you access the egg removal,is the front of basket the way.I get around in a power chair and coop access inside is difficult.** A: Yes the front is where the hen enters, lays her egg, and leaves. If you notice in the picture there are four mounting slots on the back that get screwed into plywood or whatever is on your coop walls. If accessing your coop from the inside is difficult you could always have a swinging door that you could open to remove eggs that way, but not sure how you feed and water them if going into coop is difficult **Q: I am raising Orpingtons and Cochins. Will these boxes be big enough for these breeds?** A: Yes. I also have cochins and often have 2 hens in the same box. A little cramped but they don't seem to mind.
