I like Ethiopian beans, but one order may have come from a different plantaion or the next may have been roasted under different weather conditions. The control over the grind lets you correct your coffee. Not smooth enough, go a little coarser. Not getting enough boldness, try finer. You will find that one roast of beans works best with a grind setting of 20, the next from the same geographic region and roaster may need a 17 setting. Not to mention a morning where you just need a something different and want to go for a large setting change. This little grinder works well for these kind of grind changes.
