Dr Pepper for scale
I’m just getting back into the RC world after a long hiatus, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a modern brushless setup. Back when I used to be heavily involved, you had to spend a small fortune to get something that didn't feel like "a cheap plastic." This RIAARIO 1/10 Rally Car completely caught me off guard. What Stands Out: • Built Like a Tank: The first thing I noticed was the weight and the rigidity. It’s got a "strong" presence that reminds me of the top-tier kits from years ago. It doesn't just look the part; it feels solid in your hands. • Premium Materials: The fit and finish on the chassis and the components (like the brushless motor and cooling fans) feel high-end. It doesn't have that "rattly" feel you get with entry-level rigs. • Modern Performance, Old-School Soul: It’s incredibly fast (that brushless power is no joke), but it handles with a level of precision that makes it feel like a professional piece of hobby gear rather than a toy. The Verdict: If you’re like me and looking for a way back into the hobby without feeling like you’re "downgrading" from the glory days, this is a fantastic choice. It’s humble in its price point but absolutely premium in its execution. It’s been a blast to run so far, and it’s held up beautifully to some pretty spirited "re-learning" sessions.

Best Rc Rally Car out! RLAARLO
I decided to treat myself to the Rlaarlo XTS Rally Car for my birthday, and wow—I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Right out of the box, the build quality stood out: durable materials, sleek design, and everything feels premium. Performance-wise, this car is an absolute beast. The speed and handling are on point, and it tackles different terrains with ease—pavement, dirt, even some light gravel, no problem. The suspension and control make it feel like a true rally car in miniature form. What impressed me most is how fun it is to drive. Whether I’m racing it around for quick runs or pushing it to the limit, it delivers nonstop excitement. Battery life is solid too, giving plenty of time to enjoy each session. If you’re into RC cars or just looking for something high-performance and tons of fun, this is it. Best birthday gift I could’ve gotten myself!

Better than Traxxas and ARRMA hands down!
You won't find a better car price to Performance or durability. Rlaarlo has really put themselves on the map with this and the RZ001 (Omni Terminator). The XTS series is amazing. Even the XTS P12 is built on the same tech, Don't cut corners getting the ZD or Dikavey or any of the other rebrands out there. They are using inferior materials and lesser electronics, pay the extra 20 bucks more! You'll regret not doing it. Battery Life is ok, it is only 2200mah but a very capable unit none the less. Power and speed are very good, want more get the Carbon version. These being 1/10, they have a much wider track width than standard scale so you won't be able to use many bodies for them. Handles amazing. With the built in Gyro and full digital transmitter, 2200mah 3s battery w/usb charger, speed pinion and it's the best value on the market, PERIOD! Waste your money on a Traxxas that's 3x the cost and no battery or charger and I guarantee you will need to replace the driveshafts and differentials because they are junk!

Great RTR rally car
Very nice and well put together kit. The wiring is done beautifully and the car is a lot of fun right out of the box. Very fast and agile, even on the all purpose tires. The radio and other electronics are pretty good quality even without the digital display. The fact that some important parts are plastic instead of metal is the only drawback I have found with this kit. The little 2200mah battery has surprisingly good run time for such a low MAH battery, but I will be upgrading to a higher capacity battery for longer run times. Getting this while it was on a brief sale was definitely worth it and is showing to verify good value for the money I've spent on it so far.

Not a fan of the body, but good rc car overall.
I returned and got the 1/12 scale rally. I think the body looks goofy and I don’t like Fords anyway but thought I give it a try but couldn’t get passed the looks. Really quick car and it handles just like the 1/12 scale.

Good hobby grade rally car IMO
For the price this is a good buy, especially if you enjoy the ability to run on road or offroad out the box. For starters it has good speed and comes with an optional speed gear. The design is great and very durable, sturdy enough for 10,25, even 30 mph impacts without bad damage. If you roll it over it usually winds up back on the four wheels and ready to throttle on. Size and scale are comparable to the 4Tecand the power is efficient enough to get off the line with good acceleration. I would suggest it for beginners to the hobby because these days for the features it is loaded with accessories that are usually aftermarket upgrades. I would also suggest getting at least 2x batteries for it because the included battery works but it is not long lasting (just under 20 minutes of run time). My first run was good but I'm guessing that the ESC doesn't have low voltage cuttoff as it ran good until it cut off completely which resulted in the battery being over discharged. I did run it with lights on and discovered that the first dip switch is gyro function, and the last was lights on. Seriously get one 2x batteries and enjoy the ripping!

Fast, Fun, and Tweak-Friendly Rally Car with a Few Quirks
I’ve been running the Rlaarlo XTS-F10 for a while now, and overall, I’m really glad I picked it up. If you’re looking for a 1/10 rally-style RC that’s quick out of the box, looks great, and gives you room to tinker, this one checks a lot of boxes — just don’t expect perfection right out of the package. First impressions were strong. The car looks fantastic in person, especially compared to a lot of RTRs in this price range. The chassis feels solid, the metal components inspire confidence, and the clipless body system is a nice touch. It feels more “hobby-grade” than “toy-grade” the moment you take it out of the box. Performance is where this thing really shines. On 2S it’s already plenty fast, and on 3S it absolutely rips. Acceleration is strong, top speed is more than enough for parking lots and dirt roads, and the 4WD system gives it excellent traction. It’s especially fun on loose surfaces like gravel and hard-packed dirt, where you can really throw it sideways and drive it like a proper rally car. The built-in gyro actually helps a lot at higher speeds and makes it more forgiving if you’re pushing it hard. Handling is good, but not perfect out of the box. The suspension works, but it’s definitely on the soft side. Mine needed some tweaking — preload adjustments and eventually thicker shock oil — before it felt really planted. Once dialed in, though, the car feels predictable and fun rather than twitchy. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me, but if you’re someone who wants flawless setup without touching a wrench, keep this in mind. Durability has been mostly solid. I’ve had a few tumbles and curb hits, and the drivetrain and chassis have held up well so far. That said, I’d recommend going over the car before your first run. Check screws, make sure nothing is loose, and verify the shocks are assembled properly. This seems to be fairly common with RTRs in this price range. Water resistance is “light,” not hardcore. Damp pavement and light dirt are fine, but I wouldn’t run this thing through deep puddles or snow without extra waterproofing. It’s more of a rally runner than a mud basher. Parts and upgrades are a plus. Replacement parts are available, and the layout makes it easy to work on. If you enjoy upgrading springs, shocks, or electronics over time, this car is a good platform for that. Pros: Very fast and fun to drive Excellent value for a brushless 1/10 rally car Solid metal components and nice overall design Gyro helps with stability at speed Easy to upgrade and work on Cons: Suspension needs tuning out of the box Some QC checks required before running Not fully waterproof Not race-ready without upgrades Final thoughts The Rlaarlo XTS-F10 isn’t perfect, but it’s a blast to drive and offers a lot for the money. If you enjoy dialing in your cars and want something different from the usual short-course truck or monster truck, this is a great choice. I’d happily recommend it to beginners stepping into brushless power and to intermediate drivers who want a fun rally platform they can grow with. Overall: 4 out of 5 stars — loses one point for setup quirks, but earns it back with speed and fun.

A wee beastie. So good.
Excellent. 50 mph is a bit of a fantasy, 38-42mph? But this thing is engineered well. It is designed well. It is machined well. It is tough and, most importantly, it is fun and performs like a beast. It is a puny STi with a battery. Nimble. Amazing product.

Metall version
Outstanding RC
This rally car performed beyond expectations, delivering a level of speed and handling that was more than just good-it was impressive. Its acceleration was smooth yet powerful, allowing it to reach top speeds quickly without loosing stability. Even at higher velocities, the car maintained a controlled and consistent performance, showing that its designe balances power with precision.
