I buy a new pump about every 3 years. I realized they're not really expensive pumps but I buy them so that they function properly to keep my pool nice and Crystal clear. This particular one is probably the cheapest one made I've ever bought.. the clips around the hoses don't even work properly. I had to use the old ones for my other hoses to make it work. It filters backwards.
