## Description

Solid wood platform bed frame W/classic wooden slat (no box spring needed).

Review: So Easy to Assemble — My Teenager Put It Together Himself - I purchased this Mellow platform bed for my son’s room and have been very happy with it. The solid wood design gives it a sturdy, quality feel, and I love that it does not require a box spring. The assembly was much easier than expected. My 15-year-old son actually put it together completely by himself, which says a lot about how straightforward the instructions and setup are. The cherry finish is beautiful and ended up matching his dresser almost perfectly. The room looks so much better now that the mattress is raised off the floor and the bed has a more finished, put-together look. The wooden slats provide great support for the mattress, and the frame feels stable once assembled. I also appreciate that the height gives some extra space underneath for storage. Overall, this has been a great purchase. It looks great, was incredibly easy to assemble, and feels like a sturdy, well-made bed frame. It completely changed the look of my son’s room, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable platform bed.
Review: Best $100 I’ve Spent on desertcart - For $100, this bed frame is kind of unbelievable. It took about an hour to assemble, the instructions were easy to follow, and it feels really sturdy. It also looks so much nicer in person than I expected. Easily one of my favorite desertcart purchases I’ve ever made. Full-size bed, cherry color.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the under bed clearance? Also, how far is the distance between wooden slats?**
A: Hello,
Thank you for your question.
The under-bed clearance is approximately 8.5 inches.
Best Regards,
Team Mellow

**Q: Can you attach a headboard to the bed**
A: No. I haven't found a way to attach a headboard.

**Q: What type of wood is this bed frame? What are the slats made from?**
A: The wood is from overseas, so I don't know the wood species. The slits are spaced approximately 5 inches apart and there are a bunch. I found the construction be great. There is center support made of tubular metal with 3 legs. We use it in our spare bedroom for company. My son is 6'5" and weights over 220.
Both he and his wife have had no problems sleeping on it.

**Q: How much weight does the full size bed holds?**
A: The product lists the weight limit at 400 lb, I doubt the manufactures claim of 1500 is even remotely accurate, especially with the number of reviews claiming the bed broke.
