**Q: Am I missing something? When I turn the coffee power button on - it just blinks and does not heat up.**
A: I would check the settings for time, grind and brew strength. If nothing works, refer to the manual.  When I set mine for delayed start time, I just press the "auto" button twice, the clock shows up in the display, and I wake up to perfect coffee. It's probably something simple - I had to play with mine for a bit when I first set it up.

**Q: Does it automatically mill the beans if you program it to start on its own or do I have to grind the beans manually and then set the program function**
A: It grinds the beans when you program it.... just make sure that you have the setting correct to grind the correct amount of cups!!

**Q: What is the grinder capacity 1/2 lb beans?**
A: The grinder has settings to grind for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 cups of coffee. So it will grind per the setting. For 12 cups I do use about a 1/2 c of coffee beans.

**Q: does the grinder shut off after done grinding. and then start brewing?**
A: Thank you for your question. The grinding motor will turn off once the desired amount of coffee beans have been ground. The brewing process will then begin once the grinding has stopped.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Near perfect! Do not waste $200+ on other "better" brands

This auto grind brewer is coffee's best kept secret with MAYBE one catch. This is my third time purchasing one. I keep coming back each year because for the price you can't beat it. It outperforms the 300+ Breville I had to warranty twice. The Breville was a giant pain to clean every day with poorly designed construction. This is 1/4 of the price, the basket and blade design is simple, easy to use, and easy to clean. NOTHING beats freshly ground coffee ready as I wake up. Now THIS is my third one. I've bought one each year because the water eventually stops dripping very fast into the basket, and it actually gets so hot that much of the water evaporates before it gets to the carafe. Is this a durability issue or is it because I'm terrible at regular cleaning and descaling? Giving Black and Decker the benefit of the doubt here, but no amount of descaling seems to solve this - but again it may be because I hadn't kept up routine maintenance. Other than that, I love everything about it, including 12 cup capacity that is perfect for me drinking coffee all morning.
