物凄い量のカバー写真です。 1890年代から2000年代まで網羅されています。 つい最近(2011年3月号)のカバーまで載っていました。 途中、文はありません。すべてカバー写真です。 全冊を網羅している訳ではありませんが、文句無しの第１級資料です。 1890年代から1900年代までは、1ページに9冊分の写真が載っています。 部分的に1ページに1冊分の表紙が大きく載っています。 1910年代から先は、1ページに4冊分の写真が掲載されており、 やはり部分的に1ページに1冊分の写真が大きく載っています。 中でも、 IRVING PENN や HOLST P.HORST や ERWIN BLUMENFELD が活躍した 1950年代のカバー写真は圧巻です。 数えてみたら50年代のカバーだけで80冊分掲載されていました。 それから、KAREN RADKAI や CRIFFORD COFFIN などの撮った 写真をまとまった形で見られるのはとても貴重だと思います。 色の美しさ、モデルの美しさ、シンプルで優美な美しさをたたえた 洋服や画面構成など、見ていて勉強になる要素がぎっしりと詰まっています。 アパレル関係のデザイン、写真などを勉強している方必携です。
