It delivers consistently fast speeds, works flawlessly with my setup, and feels solidly made. For the price, it’s fantastic value—especially if you’re upgrading from 1GbE and don’t want to jump to the cost of full 10GbE gear. Just plug it in to a spare USB-C port and... that's it. Only wish they made a 10GbE version, but for most use cases, this hits the sweet spot. Highly recommended. Review: Fast as advertised. Ugreen, always reliable as expected. - This ethernet adapter works very fast. The instructions maybe could be better as I didnt find th drive on their official web site, but with the code mencioned on the instructions I found it on another page for mac, windows and linux. Goes extremely fast, but you must know if your PC connections can achieve that speed (5Gbps), and also if your hard drive goes that speed (I have a NVME drive and USB-c thunderbolt on the pc (40Gbps). When I tried on the usb 3.0 or the USB 2.0 with an adapter for usb-c to normal usb the speed was not the expected and way slower on the usb 2.0. So, if there are no bottle necks in your PC it will work very well. I’m also using it to connect a windows PC to an imac 2020 as external display with Luna display wired option (I bought two of these devices and connected the thunderbolt 4 of the PC to the thunderbolt 3 of the imac with a cat 8 ethernet cable) and it goes very well (1ms latency and had maximum speed). Thank you Ugreen for your hard work. ## Features - 5Gbps, Redefining Ethernet Adapter: The UGREEN USB-C to Ethernet adapter delivers powerful 5Gbps performance. Its lightning-fast wired connection is up to 5× faster than standard Gigabit Ethernet — ideal for fast NAS downloads and efficient content creation. (Note: To achieve 5Gbps, use a CAT6 or higher cable, and ensure your router, Ethernet switch, or server supports 5Gbps (5GbE) Ethernet and your device's port complies with USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) or higher.) - Advanced Realtek Chip: Equipped with an RTL8157 chip, this USB-C to Ethernet adapter significantly reduces power consumption and heat generation while maintaining top-level performance for stable operation - Great Compatibility: Supports Windows 11, macOS 15 or later on Apple M3 chips and newer (M1/M2 not supported), and Linux Kernel 5.17. Drivers are required for Windows 11 and Linux Kernel 5.17 and can be installed easily with our instructions; macOS 15 or later is plug and play - Good Heat Dissipation: Built with an aluminium casing and an internal heat-dissipation design, this USB-C to Ethernet adapter helps dissipate heat efficiently. At 5Gbps/2.5Gbps speeds, it automatically switches to Lite Mode to avoid overheating - Multi-Functional: This Ethernet adapter for laptops supports ACPI and LPM power management, Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az), Wake-on-LAN, Wake-on-WAN, and Auto MDI/MDIX - Important Notice: For Apple devices, this adapter is only compatible with M3 and above chips (not compatible with M1, M2, or other chips). Please turn off your computer's energy-saving mode during use. Avoid using it with USB-to-USB-C adapters, hubs, extension cables, or docking stations. Connect it directly to your host's USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) or higher port. Actual transfer rates may vary depending on your network environment, hard drive read/write speed, and operating system. This adapter does not have an indicator light ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DNSTHRGQ | | Best Sellers Rank | 7,187 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) 63 in USB Computer Network Adapters | | Brand | UGREEN | | Brand Name | UGREEN | | Compatible Devices | Internet Protocol Camera, Laptop, Tablet | | Compatible Operating System Family | Windows | | Compatible devices | Internet Protocol Camera, Laptop, Tablet | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 646 Reviews | | Data Link Protocol | Ethernet | | Data Transfer Rate | 5 Gigabits Per Second | | Data link protocol | Ethernet | | Data transfer rate | 5 Gigabits Per Second | | Hardware Interface | USB Type C | | Hardware interface | USB Type C | | Item Highlight | Type C (Thunderbolt 5/4/3 Compatible) to RJ45 Network Adapter, Aluminum Compatible for MacBook Air/Pro, XPS | | Item Weight | 82 Grams | | Item weight | 82 Grams | | Manufacturer | Ugreen Group Limited | | Manufacturer Part Number | 35921 | | Minimum Required Operating System Version | Mac OS 15 Sequoia, Windows 11 | | Model Number | 35921 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Warranty | 2 year manufacturer | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** UGREEN - **Compatible Operating System Family:** Windows - **Compatible devices:** Internet Protocol Camera, Laptop, Tablet - **Data link protocol:** Ethernet - **Data transfer rate:** 5 Gigabits Per Second - **Hardware interface:** USB Type C - **Item weight:** 82 Grams - **Minimum Required Operating System Version:** Mac OS 15 Sequoia, Windows 11 - **Number of Packs:** 1 - **Unit count:** 1.0 count ## Images ![UGREEN USB C to Ethernet Adapter 5Gbps, Ethernet Adapter for Laptop - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61IvS2c1nwL.jpg) ![UGREEN USB C to Ethernet Adapter 5Gbps, Ethernet Adapter for Laptop - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71gfpc7SsIL.jpg) ![UGREEN USB C to Ethernet Adapter 5Gbps, Ethernet Adapter for Laptop - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71uOiq-Lc7L.jpg) ![UGREEN USB C to Ethernet Adapter 5Gbps, Ethernet Adapter for Laptop - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71g6jUXf5wL.jpg) ![UGREEN USB C to Ethernet Adapter 5Gbps, Ethernet Adapter for Laptop - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71cFdtQfb4L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value—fast, reliable, and well-built *by R***D on 13 August 2025* I’ve been really impressed with this 5GbE adapter from UGREEN.
