Review: Beautiful - Package arrived quickly and was as expected for a one-size-fits-all dress. It's a beautiful dress and once I got it altered a little to fit me (I am very petite), it worked out great for a Galadriel costume! I am 5' 1" and 95 pounds, so I had to get the dress shortened, and then also there was something a little wrong with the neckline- the fabric wasn't draping correctly- so the tailor adjusted/tacked down the neckline too at the same time for an additional $10 and then it was gorgeous. The shoulders did keep sliding off a little since I am small, but if I had had more time I might have been able to figure out a way to get everything to stay in place. So the alterations in total were about $35... but then I had a really pretty costume. The crown that comes with it is very flimsy and not so good, so I used other hair accessories instead. Overall, it is a beautiful costume and I'm going to keep it!

A: Hello!  The costume does have rhinestones and is made from a 100% polyester fabric.  Unfortunately, we have no experience with dying this item, so we can't make any recommendations on that.

**Q: The dress arrived extremely wrinkled and won’t respond to steam, dryer fluff, or hanging. How should I smooth it out?**
A: Hmmm, mine wasn't like that and I have worn this costume many times for different characters...love it.  I would suggest turning it inside out and try ironing it on a low temperature.  There are also spray wrinkle releases that you can buy in the laundry section of your store that work great.  Just spray while hanging on a hanger and let dry.

**Q: There’s no option to “order up from a standard. Am I missing something?**
A: Not all costumes come in every size. This comes in standard size only.

This dress exceeds my expectations 1000%. After reading the other reviews, I honestly wasn't expecting too much but this dress is beautiful beyond words!! I actually felt like Galadriel wearing it. If you're on the fence about buying this dress. Just. Do. It. You won't be disappointed! I am 5'5" and approx. 118 lbs, and it is just the right length. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good dress, bad headpiece

I usually skip the mass produced costumes and make my daughter's costumes myself, but I gave this one a try because it looked pretty good and I would have spent about the same on fabric and supplies anyway. I'm happy with my decision. The overall look is pretty close to the dress in the movie. This costume is shorter and not as full, but it would be impractical to send a middle schooler out trick or treating in anything longer and fuller. For reference, my daughter is about 5'3" and a US women's size 4. This dress is maybe an inch or so above floor length without shoes on. The fabric is stretchy and there are ties to adjust the waist so you can get a decent fit on a variety of people. The neckline was way too wide for my daughter (it was falling off her shoulders) but a couple safety pins at the shoulder seams were enough to fix that. I was concerned about the "crystals" falling off but she wore it to one party already and they all stayed on. Overall this is better quality and a more accurate representation than most licensed costumes and I am happy with my purchase. The thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the headpiece. It is a joke. It's die cut glitter vinyl and a piece of elastic and I wouldn't even expect it to last one night. Nowhere near the same quality or accuracy as the dress. I read reviews before I ordered and I expected this, but if they're going to advertise it as including a headpiece, it should be a usable headpiece, and this is not.
