Some other products I looked at were basically bowls on a step stool and were cheaply made. Searching Amazon, I found the neater feeder. I have a Basset Hound, she is a low riding puppers who is a little sloppy with her food and a lot sloppy with her water! I purchased the feeder with the taller legs. It arrived quickly with no dents or scuffs and assembled easily. The water bowl is larger, which is a nice feature. Lucy seems to be more comfortable eating and drinking out of this feeling station since she doesn't have to bend so low to use it. The protective wall around the bowls is great and keeps water and kibbie from falling on the floor or getting stuck to the wall. The drain allows all the excess water in her jibs to flow into the compartment below keeping my floors MUCH cleaner than before. I no longer have a gunky mess around her bowl! I am pleasantly surprised by this product, how well it works for my dog and how esthetically pleasing it is. It so pretty, you don't even notice it's a feeding station.
