I've been using Wrangler's Riggs workwear and Ranger Cargo Shorts for years and they've never let me down. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent *by G***Y on October 18, 2024* ——Almost 2 year update—- Shorts have held up really well and there’s no major rips/tears…even when tossing in nails and screws in the pockets. The ripstop material feels robust like jeans, but yet drys decently quick when wet. The shorts have shrunk a tad in the waist from using a hot wash cycle and dryer, so i’ve moved to air drying after washings and it seams to have helped un-strech the shorts. I’ve found the hammer loop to be a bit to small—it will take a small wood working hammer just fine but won’t accept anything the size of a framing hammer. Also, the cargo pockets are made too tight and I find it hard to get my hand in there to pull out anything that’s sitting on the bottom. Overall am still pleased with the shorts and i think i’ll end up getting another pair here in the near future. ——Original Review—- Needed some work shorts and ended up with theses. Overall I’d say I’m satisfied. The material appears to be rip stop type fabric, but it’s much thicker than normal and appears to be more similar to the thickness of jeans than ripstop. The length of the shorts is a bit longer and I wanted for it comes down below my knees a couple inches. The pockets are nearly just right, the only suggestive change would be to have the left cargo pocket angled instead of being square to make it easier to open and close. I think the color matches what was shown on the webpage, but to be honest, this was for work wear so I don’t really care what they look like.
