In TVI,CVI,AHD DVR mode, the camera resolution is 1080P. In CVBS (960H) mode, the resolution is 1000TVL. 3. Camera resolution is 1080P. It will not work when connected to a 720P DVR or 960H DVRS. Review: It is a good wide angle,easy to connect and set to the right channel/camera system which for my luck came already set so it was plug and play. The price is fair now Now to set up the camera on the right angle it is a pain, once you find the camera top and bottom(make sure to mark it with a pen) then the ball camera needs to be held in position while screwing the ring tight. Once is tightened and if the camera comes out of angle then the ring needs to be unscrewed and you will need to reposition the camera ball and repeat the process of tightening the ring. So before going all hands handy man put a mark on the camera to line everything up right out of the box and the reason is because of the wall mounting ring and the camera ball. And really it is a camera ball that needs to be play with for the desired angle then hold and tighten. It took me about five minutes and a couple of bad words! Definitely recommend it if you are a handy person and own a cvt system. All function as mandated. Does track motion detection and face recognition with my system HeimVision.

**Q: What are power specs? I purchased a 12V 2A power supply and camera will not power on.**
A: Thank you for asking, it might be different reasons
This camera is default AHD format and AHD is not compatible with all DVRs in the market. 

If you can not see the camera image through your DVR please try to switch other formats by the menu button on camera wire. Please remove the protection cap of the menu button then push the button to different directions(up, down, left or right) and make sure hold for 5 seconds till you hear the click sound. 

It is also possible that the camera itself is defective. To test if it is actually powered on please cover the lens and see if the inferred led turns on. That way please just return it.

A: I bought one of these and I didn't find the option to change its focal point, mine is always 2.8 12mm

Wide angle, easy to get rid of blind spots, night vision (black and white), and if you are replacing cameras that are wired easy to set up. I am considering getting a bigger DVR so I can get more of these and cover more area
