Nice tools, they hold an edge better than my old set, and the set includes all the turning tools I expect to need for many years to come. Like always, they need to be sharpened to the final edge, but are serviceable even as they are shipped (minus the anti-corrosion gunk they have all over them). I have turned half a dozen bowls with this new set, and can't believe I have simply gotten by with the six knives I already had for the past twenty years.
