**Q: My tripod a Manfrotto 055xprob has legs that are just a little larger than 1 1/8” but much less tha 1 1/4”..  Will this shelf fit?**
A: Hello,  thank you for your inquiry.  Our shelf will fit tripods with a leg diameter of 7/8" - 1 1/8".  The shelf may be a tight fit for your tripod. **Q: Does this work w a soho urban artist watercolor field easel?**
A: Yes.

**Q: What is the width of the slot?  I'm trying to determine how far down on my tripod this shelf would sit versus your other shelf.  Thanks!**
A: The opening is exactly 11-3/16”. I hook the shelf onto my tripod first then  my palette. There’s about an inch between them on the tripod leg they share. Hope this helps. I really like the shelf - it fits right into my backpack with my palette.
