I help one large and two smaller packing cubes along with my clear 3 oz liquid items. I was able to put away my packable jacket and stuff that in the bag as well. I did not bring a laptop to use in the zippered compartment, but I did put my Kindle, some pens, and a journal in that space. They fit well. I like the zippered pouch that buttons into the bag for extra protected storage area, then later doubles as a pouch to pack the bag into when not travelling. The pockets along the outside are spacious and deep. I felt like everything I put in there for easy access while working my way through the airport was secure and were not going to just slip out. The part that fits over the handle of my suitcase did fit well, but was a bit of a hassle to remove easily / quickly. There's not much padding to the bag. I don't know that I would put any electronic device in there without also having said device in a pouch of some sort for extra protection. I did appreciate the padding handles. This made it really easy to carry comfortably. It was a bit of a trick to get the bag to pack into the provided pouch once I got home, but it did make it and it's store nicely away until next time. Some possible guided instructions or ideas for folding the bag would have gone a long way. Overall, this is one of my best travel purchases in a long time. One that I'm confident about using for a long time to come.
