But the shut off needs to be near the potential leak. If its too far away it wont get wet enough and wont expand the disk. Its a great invention. Get some extra disks and try yourself to make sure the set up is positioned well. **Q: My tubing is 3/8, would this valve work?** A: This accepts 1/4” tube so no it won’t work.
