It like any other Cuisinart, just smaller. We did have a problem after several months of use where the lid got jammed on to the bowl. The first time I was able to force it off with a great amount of straining. The second time, I pratically shattered the bowl and handle trying to get the lid off. I attrbute the problem to the plastic warping over time, probably heat in the dishwasher. The lid would go on with little effort, but it refuse to come off after processing something. I LOVED this machine, it was so great for small jobs, even before I had a big food processor. I recently started using it to grind parmesan cheese and now the blades are completely dull. It's out of warranty and I'm not sure it's worth it to replace the blade. Very disappointed.
