On the 3M UK website it's called 'General Purpose Duct Tape 2903', which is not the name on Amazon. The 3M description is: '... a versatile, canvas canvas [sic.] made of polyethylene film on canvas fabric and a synthetic rubber finish. A good choice for general maintenance, bundling, wrapping, fastening, sealing and protection ...' So in other words you don't use it to keep a jet fighter together, but it's really good for parcels, or for bundling cardboard together for recycling.It's hard to find a duct tape that tears cleanly, with no odd strands. This works. You have to pay over a fiver to get a duct tape that's in the clean-tear zone, so if that's what you want, for general domestic use, this will do the job. I had a Swedish duct tape before this, and this is about as good, for less.
