    What I needed for a 'slippery' thumb

I have small hands and my thumb tends to slide off the rest when I'm doing trickier right hand fingerings.  Even adjusting the thumbrest to maximum lean to the right doesn't cure it.  But slapping this little rubber device on widens the thumbrest slightly and provides more grip, so my hand stays where it ought.  Makes a really nice difference, and it's cheap to boot!(used on a Yamaha Custom Alto thumbrest - a very typical modern, coated type of thumbrest.)
