    Fantastic Barney Alphabet book!

This book is filled with vibrant pictures of Barney putting items in a large soup pot.  I love that the last page includes all of the letters of the alphabet with upper and lowercase letters. Now for the reviews that are caught up on the X for eXtra sharp cheese. The page clearly has the letter X in the word eXtra highlighted in purple just like the first letters in the other words. When teaching letters the rule doesn't have to be that the item starts with that letter. The author just tried to be creative. Any of you know a fruit or food item that starts with X? We didn't want Barney throwing a nonfood item like a xylophone in the soup, right?
