Review: Great Teaching Cards and Fun For Kids - We first saw these at a neighbor's house and my 4-year-old begged for a set of her own. She loves playing “school" with them and feels very accomplished when she answers the questions. The cards are helping her get ready for kindergarten, which she starts next fall. The little alien characters make learning fun. The cards are sturdy. They’re the perfect size for me to stick in my purse, and we do them on the go instead of using electronic devices. These cards go beyond typical flash cards by offering multiple questions, activities and games in each subject area. We use them again and again. The Working Memory and Thinking cards are especially fun and challenging. Math was hard at first but with practice, my daughter has mastered most of the concepts. The Following Direction cards are helping her listen better. I highly recommend these.

**Q: Are these good for general practice? I homeschool my son and have no interest in passing a test but would like to challenge him (a gifted child).**
A: Depends on the age of the child.  My 3.5 year old kid can answer most of these questions already.  I got them to minimize screen time, and I’m not great at imaginative play myself.  It may be too easy for someone older.  I like the card format because I learned well with flash cards too but they do not teach systematically as in a school curriculum.

**Q: What is the difference between the Gifted Testing and Gifted Learning products?**
A: Thank you for your question!  There is no difference, we simply updated our verbiage because our Flash Cards are great for testing as well as everyday learning skills!

I bought these as a gift for my twin nieces. They love the bright colors and fun characters on each card. They differt from other learning flash cards in that they get kids thinking on their own and stimulate a higher level of discussion than I’ve ever heard from my 5-year-old twins. We have fun doing them together, the cards are sturdy and great for travel. I’m always glad to find a product that helps me spend time with them in a constructive and educational way.
