It provides real-time data on power, cadence, speed, and distance, while also offering personalized training zones based on your lactate threshold or maximum heart rate. Compatible with all Kinetic fluid resistance trainers, this device is designed to enhance your cycling performance and training efficiency. ## Description The Kinetic inRide is our next generation watt meter. The system uses the new Bluetooth Smart communication protocol found in the iPhone 4S and iPad 3 to pair a heart rate monitor and power sensor pod with the new Kinetic inRide iPhone App to measure wattage with any Kinetic fluid trainer. HOW IT WORKS Our incredibly accurate fluid trainer power curve allows precise wattage readings at exact speeds as measured indoors on a Kinetic fluid trainer. Firmware in the inRide Sensor Pod measures speed and cadence at the tire and translates that to wattage with a simple equation. That data and the heart rate data is collected and displayed on the paired iPhone. Post workout file sharing allows you to upload training data to your favorite web site or email files to a remote coach. All current Kinetic fluid trainers including: the Road Machine, Rock And Roll and Pro Trainer are compatible with Kinetic inRide allowing the rider to capitalize on the benefits of a wattage-based training program. ## Features - Kinetic inRide sensor and Heart Rate Monitor pairs with the iPhone 4s using Bluetooth Smart protocols, eliminating need for additional dongles - Kinetic inRide sensor transmits power, cadence, speed and distance - Personalized power and heart rate zone info based on rider lactate threshold or maximum heart rate - Auto calculated wattage and HR zones show current, average, max heart rate and total time spent in each training zone during workout - Kinetic inRide is only compatible with Kinetic fluid resistance trainers and is backwards compatible with all current models - Compatible with iPhone 4s and newer, iPad 3 and newer ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Item Package Dimensions L x W x H | 6.6 x 3.7 x 1.3 inches | | Package Weight | 3.2 ounces | | Item Dimensions LxWxH | 7 x 5 x 1 inches | | Item Weight | 90.7 Grams | | Brand Name | Kinetic by Kurt | | Color | Black | | Suggested Users | Training | | Number of Items | 1 | | Manufacturer | Kinetic | | Part Number | T-2000 | | Model Year | 2015 | | Size | One Size | | Sport Type | cycling | ## Images ![Kinetic inRIDE Watt Meter - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51G6eN08LHL.jpg) ![Kinetic inRIDE Watt Meter - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81BwmtFqT3L.jpg) ![Kinetic inRIDE Watt Meter - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71fW9yOjaUL.jpg) ![Kinetic inRIDE Watt Meter - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61PJpzlx2bL.jpg) ![Kinetic inRIDE Watt Meter - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61VHIACcRzL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Good value and works well *by D***H on Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2015* Excellent software is occasionally let down by hardware glitches. Bluetooth chest strap occasionally loses communication with iPhone; simply switching out of the app and back in re-establishes the connection and this can be done without restarting your exercise session. So it's not a big deal in most situations.Ability to calibrate the power reading gives credibility and repeat-ability to workouts.Software provides just about any metric you care to measure in the optional displays -- set up as many, or as few, as you want.App automatically sends data to e.g. Strava at the end of each session so you can get your "Suffer Score".I'm using this with a Kinetic Rock and Roll fluid trainer. The bluetooth chest strap connects to Wahoo Fitness (the whole package is actually a re-badged Wahoo unit).All-in-all, pretty good value-for-money to get calibrated power data from your indoor trainer plus lots, lots more. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Bike meter ok, Two sets of heart rate monitors and straps didn't work at all. *by R***A on Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2017* Bike meter seems to work well. I tried two heart rate monitors and straps and was only able to get a reading once out of a few dozen tries. I then got a wahoo TICKR heart rate monitor and the InRide app picked it up and provided a reading immediately. So maybe 4 stars (just because it connected reliably and gave reasonable numbers) for the bike watt meter and zero stars for the heart rate monitor. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS . . . IT DOES NOT WORK *by A***O on Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2014* DO NOT BUY THIS . . . IT DOES NOT WORK. This is perhaps the most useless cycling product I have ever purchased. I use a power meter when I ride and rely on the data it provides. I purchased this product approximately a year ago and gave up on it after a few weeks. When I rode, I would get absurdly high power readings and inconsistent cadence and speed. I wasn't expecting much from the device because the math just doesn't work. If all the measurement comes from the speed of the flywheel, it cannot be very accurate. It isn't very hard to trick the device, just shift to your lowest gear and spin as fast as you can, with little pressure, and you can see some great power readings:)When I saw the new app and promises of major improvements in results, I reinstalled the app and tried the unit again. The results were improved. The power readings seemed reasonable and though still inconsistent, the cadence and speed were improved. Unfortunately, I spent the entire week riding and have little to show for it. The phone and the power unit and HR monitor do not maintain a connection for more than 5 minutes. I replaced batteries in both and walked through all the help I could find on the web. The system is just flaky and frankly not worth your money or your time. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.uy/products/89842370-kinetic-inride-watt-meter](https://www.desertcart.uy/products/89842370-kinetic-inride-watt-meter) --- *Product available on Desertcart Uruguay* *Store origin: UY* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
