3M Polyolefin Adhesion Promoter is a specially formulated adhesion promoter for use when repairing low surface energy plastics such as thermopolyolefin (TPO). Use our adhesion promoter with 3M brand adhesives. 3M Polyolefin Adhesion Promoter is designed specifically for polyolefin and ethylene propylene plastic identified by the marks PP, EP, TPO or EPDM on the back of the part.

Review: Part of a family of products to repair plastic automotive parts - Used as part of a bumper repair. Worked very well to allow the other 3M products I used to adhere to the bumper. Nothing sticks to polypropylene, but this stuff makes it happen!
Review: They LAST, great can and great product. - Use it for TPO bumper adhesive repair, this stuff lasts FOREVER it's a GREAT product, been using the same can for over 2 years and it still sprays well, never clogs. WAY better than the LORD FUSOR brand, those clog up and fail way before the can is empty. I wipe the tip w/ brake cleaner after every use. Hasn't failed me yet, will purchase again.

**Q: I plan on sanding my kayak and using this before I paint. Do I paint over with a water resistant plastic paint, or water resistant regular paint?**
A: Hi Katelyn! Thank you for your question. The 3M 05907 Polyolefin Adhesion Promoter provides enhanced adhesion for 3M adhesives used in repairing low surface energy plastic materials. This product is not designed for use as an adhesion promoter for paint or primer.

**Q: Will this work with polyurethane?**
A: Thanks for your question.  Yes, although not needed on polyurethane plastics, you can use the 3M Polyolefin Adhesion Promoter, 05907 on this plastic if needed to. If you have any questions, please contact us directly at 877-666-2277 option 2.

**Q: Would this work for getting metallic spray paint to stick to the plastic on a scooter without peeling or flaking off?**
A: That’s not really it’s purpose. This is for repairing cracked plastic on items such as bumpers. You apply this prior to applying a resin. I think you want an adhesive primer.  Regardless, sand your item first!!!

**Q: Is this price for six cans, or just one?**

Works great! The 3m semi rigid with using this before application came out perfect! I tried a few practice runs before the actual repair and there is a definite difference in tab strength using this.
