Does it last or break down and compress?** A: The foam is not overly thick, maybe 1/4 an inch to 1/2 inch thick. I have only had my slippers for about a month, but I’ve worn them often. The foam is still intact. When I rub my hand on the inside, I can feel a slight indentation where my toes go.
