Very good hood for the price.
I'm in school for welding and ever since I started using this hood my welds have improved. It is not to heavy on the head after a long day at work. It feels thin but holds up and does the job great. It looks slick. The auto darkening works perfect I don't have any complaints.

It is a quality Helmet that works perfectly,, and the price won"tkkill your budget.
It arrived the next day after placing the order. The helmet build seems solid with plenty of room for my respirator. It took a couple of minutes reading the instructions, but I figured out the settings. Once I started to run a bead it was evident that this helmet was a game changer. The field of view is amazing, but when you see the Tru Color and the clarity of the view! Wow it is something to behold. The control knobs are on the outside of the helmet, and very easy to adjust on the fly. the test button is on the inside which is nice that it is cause once you test, it is out of the way. The knobs that lock the helmet up really need to be tight, the sweet spot that holds it up and still lets you flip it down can be elusive. BUT with the view through the lens, I find I put it down and go to work. There is no need to do a lot of flipping. Its is a quality Helmet that works perfectly, the price is right, the build quality is evident, and the spare screen protectors are a plus. Get one!

Flimsy yet Effective
Welding student at 7 months. Just welded with it today for 4 hours. Came out of the box mishapen but did not affect wearability; the plastic is extremely light and flexible, leading to easy potential breakage and cheap adjustments. However, due to the light weight and supportive headgear, even on my sensitive head I don't struggle with pain and the helmet falling off compared to my lincoln. The padding is coming loose but hey, a little DIY from Dollar Tree, and voila! When it comes to viewing, I see better, the colors are amazing, and doesn't feel like I'm wearing sunglasses. I might increase the delay time to see if it'll solve my issue with after-welding when the metal is still bright. We'll see how long it holds out!

Great optics!
I don't know about durability or longevity.... However, the quality of the lens electronics and LCD are fabulous. The hood material is very thin and flexible but it doesn't need to be thicker to do its job and weight is the enemy for something hanging off your face. It's very light and comfortable. The weight is distributed well over the harness. I flipped it up and actually forgot I had it on for a few minutes. But, the lens shading and image is great. I've been wearing a much older Hobart auto lens for ~15 years(?) At the first arc, I honestly panicked a bit. To me it seemed like the lens didn't darken! At least for a few seconds until I realized. Cool! The arc is blue, the puddle is red, the back of my glove is mustard yellow, and I can see the edge of the plate to keep the weld running straight. Maybe all of them are like this now, but I'm astounded by the clarity. Before I could see a bright blob (the arc), a smaller less bright blob (the puddle), and nothing at all outside half an inch of the light from the arc. Turning it down only overwhelmed with glare and turning it up just made the bright blobs dimmer. It was welding by feel really. I'm a few hours of use in now, and it's great. Hopefully it continues to work and nothing breaks. The best $45 I've spent since I started welding. Being able to see makes welding easy.

Excellent value for money.
I don't normally write reviews but Yeswelder has really been impressing me lately so I felt it was right to give an honest critic of this helmet.I purchased my first one at the beginning of 2022. I have used it for heavy welding every since and it mostly held up. The settings work extremely well and are easy to use. The head strap is not as thick as perhaps a Killer, but the head strap has held up for the last two years. I also get a load of compliments on how nice it looks.I weld mostly aluminum. I use mig primarily and occasionally TiG. I weld mostly between 1/8 and 1/4 inch thick pieces with the occasional 3/8 and even rarer 1/2 piece. I weld 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. The helmet held up fine for 2 years and finally started having issues. Sometimes the auto darken function doesn't work, or it just stays on. This is mostly my fault as I hadn't taken very good care of it. So keep in mind, I weld hard core AND I didn't take care of it and it still held up. I know people who paid for a 300 dollar helmet and pay 75 bucks for a new lens once a year. I think I definitely got my moneys worth out of the helmet I ordered. In fact, I liked it so much that I bought a new one after the last one started having issues. It didn't die, it just started having issues. If you buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Great quality at a great price
I don't have a lot of time using the Yeswelder hood yet, so I may find some annoying issues, but I don't think so. Other reviews complained that is was not as strong of ridged as other hoods. I find it compares to my Lincoln Viking very well. The Yeswelder hood has comfortable headgear, that stays in the up position until a head nod brings it down. The true color is amazing once the initial surprise is over. The most best feature is that there is a cheater lens available that covers the whole large window. The external adjustments are larger than all the other hoods that have the adjustments on the inside. With the Viking and the previous Miller I had, I needed to get an magnifier to be able to change sensitivity, delay and shade. I believe this is a better hood than the $300 + Viking and the $400 + Miller.

Excellent Budget Friendly Mask
I've bought 3 of these. Not because they fall apart, but because they are that good and I have them at different locations. They are comfortable, east to adjust and the field of view is excellent. I like the black color personally. The lens is adjustable to the level of protection you want. The head band is easy to use, adjusts quickly. The design is not obtrusive, it never feels in the way. Nothing I don't like about this mask at all, plus the price is great!
