A thorough, helpful and clear book explaining many aspects of heavy rigging and lifting. Despite the rather American bias, the principles apply anywhere. There is a good comparison of some of the specialised crane modelling software which is available and good guidance on how to document and present lift plans.Some of the structural design checks on padeyes, as based on American codes and practice, do not accord with British or European practice.
