BELLA Personal Size Rocket Blender replacement parts (Flat blade 3 1/4" diameter)

Bought this gem over a year ago for my Smith Blend smoothie blender. It fit perfectly and has held up without cracks or tarnish. It can be a tiny bit difficult to clean around the edges inside as they are grooved out, but that is the only problem if I had to state one. Just be sure to soak/rinse in very hot water before actually washing it and that should alleviate the issue. Love it so much, I bought 2.

I bought this motor to replace my old one, which no longer worked. The new one works perfectly with my older blade assemblies and containers. Note of Caution: Look inside the top of the motor and the bottom of the blade assembly and you will see that the system works because of interlocking teeth. These gears/teeth are made of plastic. If the blade assembly should freeze for some reason, the motor will keep spinning and wear out its toothed gears very fast. This means the motor is no longer useful. This is what happened to me, and why I had to replace the motor. The plastic sealing ring in the blade assembly came loose, locked around the blade, and froze it. The gears in the motor very quickly wore down to nubs. End of motor. I didn't understand what was happening; by the time I did, it was too late. This isn't a criticism of the unit, just a note to be aware of what can happen, and why I needed to replace the unit. Also: Never run the motor for more than a minute--less really--or you will start to smell it burning.

They came in a set with both types of blades, grey in color, and the threads fit well on the old Bella Cucina Machine...from the 90s.Happy with being able to get replacement parts, but it took a while to understand that they ARE compatible with a brand they don't advertise the same.

I've had my Bella Rocket Blender for several years and have never had a problem. The plastic contact on the rim of one cup broke off and the blender won't run without all the contacts. So I ordered the "BELLA Personal Size Rocket Blender replacement parts (Tall cup and short cup)" and none of the original parts fit the new cups. The new cup openings are too large, making them useless. I tried forcing them on, but when I force them on, it takes someone much stronger than me to unscrew them.

I bought this set when the bearings in one of the original blade rotors broke. The new set works just fine, except that, with the old set, you could push down on the cup and twist to activate the motor. You could then let go, and the motor would keep spinning until you reversed the process. With these blades, they do not lock in place so you have to keep pushing down to keep the motor running. Otherwise, it works just fine.
