This is an ESSENTIAL, Well Designed Product and everyone who uses batteries or has battery-operated products (all of us) needs one otherwise, you have no idea of the charge-status of your batteries... and don't just assume that batteries are always fresh with full-charge right out of the package or fresh when shipped/supplied with a battery-operated product. I have owned/used several battery-testing products and this one is by far the most versatile, convenient, quick and easy-to-use. Always TEST (even new) and DATE batteries (mo/'yr with a fine point 'sharpie' pen) at the time batteries are put into service in a device/product. Fortunately, manufacturers are trending towards more rechargeable batteries, but until then we all need our own battery 'tester' to know the charge-status of our batteries. This battery testing product is quick, easy-to-use and accurate... I use mine frequently and I would repurchase.

Do you have a drawer of used batteries that you collect from the holiday decorations?I don't want to store the decorations with the batteries in them so I take them out every year and keep them in a separate bag.Trying to determine which ones have gone bad is very difficult unless you have this tester.This works great! Very simple! Chacks many different types of batteries.This save on buying more batteries before you need to. Even after a battery is "Dead" it's still usually good for something like a calculator for a year or more. Don't recycle them till thet are ready!

Works well. Easy to use. I would recommend it.
