Perfect for connecting 2 computers to 1 pair of speakers
I used to use a KVM switch that switched my audio between my gaming PC and my mac mini, but the switch was causing HDMI sync issues for my gaming PC. Since my monitor has 2 inputs, my mouse can switch between 2.4ghz dongle (PC) and bluetooth (Mac), and my keyboard also can be easily switched from wired (PC) to bluetooth (Mac) mode, I no longer needed a KVM, and I could direct the video straight from computer to monitor. But this left behind the problem of two computers and one set of speakers. I didn’t want a fancy mixer that would blend the sound together, just a simple switch. I considered soldering together one of my own, then came across this. It’s exactly what I needed and lets me quickly switch my speakers between the computers without having to unplug anything.

This is all you need
I've had this for 4 months now and it's still working fine. I was looking for a audio switch to switch my input between my laptop and CD player but was disappointed that all the switches I found had a volume control knob (which I found unnecessary as I can control the volume at the output) and worse of all did not have a visual indicator of the input source only a button. I like this switch because it does not have that unnecessary volume control keeping the size down (it's about 2" x1.5") and the slide switch tells me at a glance where the audio input is coming from. I highly recommend this switch.

Loud Static Noise With Two Connected Sources
Basically unusable. Makes a loud whining static noise whenever two inputs are plugged in. I plugged audio from two PCs into the IN inputs, connected the middle OUT to the headphones, and got static along with the actual sounds. Issue persisted after trying other audio sources. So long as two audio sources are connected, you'll hear static even if one of them is off.I don't know how it's possible to mess up a basic AB switch, but this company managed it.

Impressive little gadget.
Wasn't expecting much. Actually anticipated some loss of sound quality but to my casual pleb ears. The sound quality is just as good. Will update if it poops out after a short period.

Works for intended purpose but don't use it for Ham Radio
I bought this box to do something it's not advertised to do, which is why I'm still giving it four stars. It does what it says it will, which you can see from the many reviews left by folks to are using it the way it was intended. I planned on using it to switch between two inputs for my Yaesu FT-60, which uses a TRRS jack for an external speaker/mic/PTT input. I wanted to be able to connect both a corded speaker/mic for voice use and my DigiRig for packet radio and use this product to switch between them. This product uses a DPDT (double pole double throw) switch to change between the two sources. This means it's only switching the left and right audio channels, or the TR part of the TRRS jack. The remaining two contacts, the RS, are bridged across all three jacks. This is fine if you're using the product for stereo audio, but it creates some undesirable results if you're using it for anything else. The only reason I'm docking a star is because the product really should use a 4PDT switch so that it can actually switch all four contacts between the jacks. Granted, this would increase the cost and complexity of the device by a few dollars but it would mean that each jack is fully isolated from the others. Is this strictly necessary when all you need it to do is work for switching stereo audio? No. But from an engineering perspective it would have been a better, more robust and functional design.

Fantastic
I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. I bought this so that I could swap between satellite radio and AUX input in my car with just a flip of a switch and it does exactly that. I love that it's analogue and the switch between inputs is instant. It feels very solid and well made, I dropped it on the ground when I was installing it and it didn't even get a scratch and it still works flawlessly. It was a lot smaller than I though too, which was a pleasant surprise. It's very compact and was able to fit somewhere nice and out of the way. The only improvement I can think of is if it came with double sided tape in the package or already installed.

I can't find fault! Swap between speakers and headphones with ease.
I'm using this on the home entertainment system in my Man Cave because I like to watch movies that can get loud in places, and the wife prefers I wear headphones for those events when she's home and/or trying to sleep... this makes it effortless for me to switch back and forth between bluetooth headphones and the 2.1 +subwoofer audio setup. The audio is perfectly satisfactory for my needs and the unit appears soundly constructed. The only thing that would make this better would be a remote instead of manual switch... of course then the price tag heads north in a hurry with those kind of sophisticated add-ons. This was a great bang for the buck.
