Detective Chief Inspector Roy Slater and Detective Constable Terry Hoskins played pivotal roles in the episode’s plot, and their absence from the lineup is a missed opportunity for completists and fans of the show’s darker comedic turns.On a personal note, The Jolly Boys’ Outing holds a special place in my heart, as it brings back fond memories of living in Margate.
