He recovered quickly, but let me stress.. Even though you love hot and spicy foods and condiments, use this with discretion until you are comfortable with the degree of heat. I love it, have used it for decades. But I still am very cautious about how much to use in any given circumstance. It is delicious, and cooks well (wings, chili), which many hot sauces do not. But less is more.. honest.

If you eat it as a sauce with a few drops added to food the burn might last a coulpe of minutes. If you cook with it, there is not much burn at all. This is a great sauce. You will know you're eating something hot but it's not too hot to eat. Try it.
