Libbey Cosmopolitan Martini Party Glass, 8.25oz, Set of 12

We ordered these for a cocktail party that we hosted at the beginning of the month. Initially this seemed like too good of a deal: a dozen glasses, made in the US, and for a bargain at <$2 each. Well, the glasses arrived safely in immaculate packaging and we were/are very satisfied with the purchase. These feel very sturdy and have a nice weight to them. They aren't light and don't feel cheap. The glass isn't perfect, but you'd have to be looking pretty closely to pick out the imperfections - something that no one is probably going to do once you've served them a Manhattan or two in one of these glasses. The weight is concentrated in the base, but they feel pretty well-balanced in my hand and none of our guests had anything but positive remarks. The fact that they are machine washable is a plus, but these are such a good deal it hardly matters. 8.25 ounces is more than enough volume for our cocktails, but I imagine that will vary by customer. It seems to be comparable to the size I'm served at our local establishments. They hold a chill pretty well, but would probably be best pulled from your freezer just before serving. These are very stylish in our opinion and don't have the look or feel you might expect for the price. Before I purchased these from Amazon I found similar glasses (including some from the same company) in the local box store, but the price wasn't quite as good and they didn't have any sets of 12 in stock at the time. The packaging was excellent, so I wouldn't pass up on this deal. A rare unqualified 5-star rating for us.

They are good quality. Durable material. Clean and fancy for serving food or drinks.

Great quality, clear glass. So pretty, even my husband thought so. I was happy to use them at Christmas dinner. Sturdy packaging too.

A little small at 4 oz, but great for a martini party

These glasses are your generic glasses, nothing special. They are on the thicker side and stand well buy themselves. They are not expensive looking nor cheap looking. One of mine was chipped upon opening, so I deducted one star for durability.

Best martini glasses for everyday use and I use them everyday. Fit the hand nice and glass is of high quality. Friends that use them always comment on how nice the are.

We were having friends over and wanted to make espresso martinis, so ordered these glasses. At first I thought they were too small, but they ended up being the perfect size. I debated about long stem which I think looks a little more elegant or short stem, but decided on these. They fit great in the dishwasher, don't feel like they will break easily, feel nice in the hand, and will store easily.

A saw these at two of my local bars and loved the feel and shape. So, I found them on Amazon as Libbey and ordered them. Guests love them -- they are very stable and have a weighed base. I like to chill my barware for Cosmos and Manhattans. These stay very cold with the heavier base and frost very nicely. I want to try them as dessert glasses. Very attractive and affordable.

Wonderful glass to complete the collection of proper glasses to match the type of drink (eg. Cosmopolitan). Libbey is the go-to brand for highball/cocktail glasses. Did the math on these ... a 4 count is $42, so just a little over $10/glass, but a 12 count is only $55, bringing the price per glass down by over HALF, to $4.64 each! So I split a big 12 pack with my sister :)

Holds beverage. Does not discriminate between mocktail, cocktail, beer, or juice. Works equally well with all liquids. Pours nicely into my mouth when I tilt it over. What more do you want?
