I bought this book for my 3 year old daughter. These books have pictorial explanation which will be very helpful for the kids understand.

Illustrations not appropriate for preschoolers/toddlers

The book is colorful and attractive, but the story has not been updated to consider young readers, eg. the wolf is killing and eating up pig! The illustration shows this violent act and I was not at all willing to read this book to my preschoolers, so had to return it.
