This product was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to install, came with the tool, and my key fit right into the shell. I will be ordering just to have one if I ever need to replace it again.

This seems like a pretty good replacement for a 2001 Lexus ES300 key fob. The only problems are: It was difficult to get the key through the sleeve. Ultimately, I used a pair of pliers to finish this task. Once installed, the key is held firmly in the fob. The buttons are fairly recessed in the case, but are still usable. Not a deal breaker but still notable. I’m impressed they tried to make it look like the real deal right down to a snap in Lexus logo and an FCC sticker.

Have a 2000 GS300. My wife broke both of the factory keys by forcing them when steering wheel was not locked. (in the Lexus owner's manual it clearly states to turn the wheel to the right if ignition switch does not turn). I also had a bit of a problem with the tight fit on blade holder. I would rather spend a few minutes with emery paper cleaning up the gunk on the blade than have it loose and break the case again. I also changed the batteries in both keys while I had them apart. I have not had a problem with the buttons being a little more indented in the casing. Overall I am very pleased with the appearance and functionality of the casing.

I liked that it arrived quickly. I disliked that the screw strips very easily. I had to use the screw that came with the original piece. This will also not last, I am hopeful for a month at most. The key is still partially loose so I know the torque from turning on the engine will burst this quickly. Further, while the buttons fit in their respective holes, the lock/panic hole is larger than the button so there is a gap. As I would otherwise be keyless while I order another fob cover, I am going to keep it. However, I would not buy this again.

Great idea but my key does not fit. I’ve tried 3 kinds now with no luck.

Im so VERY pleased. Was worried that the key would be cheap but its not.. it's basically identical to one I purchased directly from Lexus last year for $150. I struggled a little to get it together using the old key stick, but then it came together perfectly.. entire process took me about 5 mins total. Im so happy, it's strong material and looks & feels identical to a new key. Very very happy! Huge cost savings!

This is a good replacement for the original shell. These seem to last about 1.5-2 years under harsh usage, and the wells are deep enough to reduce accidental button pushes. The included screwdriver is a convenient touch.

This product works great. My old remote case broke after about 10 years. It took a few minutes to pull the old metal key out of the broken plastic. After finding two pairs of pliers, I was able to squeeze the metal key into the new case before screwing it in. I can understand why a few people might have said that their key didn't fit as the holder was very tight and it was not possible to work by hands alone. In about 15 min, all was switched over and works like new. Thanks.

I purchased this product as dealer prices were huge. very easy to fit key and assemble. I have used it for some weeks now without any issues.
