This product does not remove an active infestation. It only kills surface-level bugs. Using it without finding the harbourages first can make the problem worse. There are no clear instructions on this spray, so people risk wasting hundreds of pounds trying to treat their home with these. Bed bugs are psychologically damaging. We had them for a month, and we spent £100+ three insecticide sprays - including this one - made the problem worse before we realised, from helpful pest control videos, that the nests must be treated directly. None of these sprays informs us that we need to find these harbourages and we end up spending on these and then end up calling pest control. Our situation: • Infestation level: moderate- our mattresses were clean. • Source: a second-hand wooden bunk bed. Bed bugs lay dormant and are extremely good at hiding. NEVER buy second hand fabric/wooden furniture. Please note, the bunk beds mattresses were pure white. They bugs were hiding inside the wooden bunk bed. What didn’t work: • Multiple sprays, including this one. Surface bugs died yes, BUT adults MOVED and retreated deeper into our kids bunk bed and behind a photo frame and our the ottoman bed! What worked: • binned the bunk bed - Dispose of affected mattresses and bedding on bunk bed (the source) • we knew the bugs retreated to our ottoman storage bed which we could not afford to replace - we had to act fast. • we ripped open the headboard at back and binned fabric, vacuumed, bleach spray and hot iron all the headboard fabric at the front and seams with a steam iron. • we then Removed wooden slats at the base and bin them. We found two main harbourages (one behind fabric of headboard and one underneath wooden slats and removed them using bleach spray first and large disinfectant floor wipes (physically cleaning bugs and eggs and removing them). Extra steps we took: • Vacuumed thoroughly • Used a steam iron on all seams, joints, and edges • Vacuumed again the same night Storage and washing: • All items under the bed were double-bagged until summer and will be washed and tumbled dried. • Clothing and bedding in contact with the bed and in room were washed and tumble-dried at 60°C+, daily. • Anything unnecessary or old was discarded including pillows on bunk beds. Important warnings: • Using insecticide like this one without finding harbourages can push bugs deeper into cracks, skirting boards, wallpaper, and beds • Bed bugs, especially adults, are extremely smart and adaptable • Bleach spray does not kill eggs - they must be physically removed or heat-treated. This insecticide claims to kill eggs however we cannot confirm this. • Always wear a mask and ventilate the room when using any spray Key lessons: • Identify harbourages first • Physically clean and vacuum thoroughly • Use high-heat steam or iron over the entire bed structure • Vacuum morning and evening • Wash and heat-dry all bedding and clothing in contact with the bed Final advice: • If possible, discard affected beds • If not, dismantle fully and follow the steps above • If these steps fail, consult professional pest control I genuinely hope this helps others avoid the nightmare we went through. I would have given this product a better review IF there were instructions. Update (May 2026) We had to use professional treatment in May, the buggers came back. It’s impossible to treat them without professional treatment. It’s now June and the insecticide is still working but we can see numbers finally decreasing and no bites. Please use professional treatment.

arrived burst i only had a small drop in bottle as it was leaking used the remains and it was briliant never saw a bug i would buyit again but it went from 8 pounds to 22 so too expensive

My wife and I began noticing bites on our daughter and after a thorough search of her room we discovered, much to our horror and disgust, that there were bed bugs. We believe that they came in a fabric headboard we ordered online, as that's were they seemed to be thriving and we had them nowhere else in the house. I swore to rain down hellfire on the sonsofb*tches that were biting my little girl, but since I had to take into account that this is where she sleeps and searched for a non-toxic eco friendly solution. I found this product and many of the reviews were very detailed and helpful so I decided to give it a try. I ordered two of the 1 gallon jugs as well as an inexpensive sprayer. Below are the steps I took to successfully rid these mofos from our home. Some might think I went overboard, but if you read horror stories about how difficult it can be to rid your home of these vile creatures once an infestation gets serious, you'll be convinced that there is no such thing as overkill. -We bagged every blanket, piece of clothing, stuffed toy, curtain and anything fabric and removed it from the room. This would be washed and dried at a very high temperature. -The mattress and fabric headboard went to the landfill. -I sprayed the entire room down with EcoRaider, baseboards, walls, carpet, ceiling, shelves. bed frame...everything! -I made a moat of food grade Diatomaceous Earth at the base of the bedroom door (I was afraid the little ****ers might come after us when they got hungry) -I noticed dead bed bugs after the first spray so I knew it was working. -Over the course of of the next 30 days I repeated the spray-down process 4 times while our daughter slept in the guest room. Letting the EcoRaider dry after each treatment and then doing a thorough vacuum. -During the 3rd treatment I saw a live bedbug come out of a crack in the wood bed frame as I was soaking it down. Realizing how tiny a space they can hide in I decided to take no chances and the bed frame went to the landfill. -After our final treatment we washed down the walls, windows, shelves, etc. to remove any EcoRaider residue. -We waited another week or so to allow the EcoRaider odor to subside. It isn't an unpleasant smell but it is quite strong. I also put in an odor absorbing "air sponge" and an air purifier to aid in clearing it out. -After the odor had subsided, and before putting my daughters things back in the room, my wife and I took turns sleeping in the room. We were acting as bait to see if we would end up with bites. We did not. -Its been 3-4 weeks since the last treatment and my daughter has not had any bites and ongoing inspections have not turned up any evidence of BBs. The room we were treating is approximately 100 square feet. I ended up only using one of the 1 gallon jugs I ordered. The sprayer I purchased was a must have as it allowed me to get the EcoRaider where I needed it to go without wasting any. While it does smell quite strong it isn't horrible, sort of like very intense pine. The odor does linger but subsides to reasonable levels after a few days of leaving the window open. The bad air sponge helped as well. After a few weeks it's still noticeable, but it's just a slight clean pine smell. Read at your own risk; the following contains adult content and graphic horror: It all started when i was laying on the couch, watching something, and out of the corner of my eye, i saw one crawling next to me. I then looked fully and saw it heading straight for me, and they are fast! I then saw another one. Then, i felt one on my leg. Needless to say, where there are that many, there are about a million times more. I opened up my bedding and, to my surprising horror, there were about a dozen of them, crawling around and on me. I seriously, seriously freaked out, and that's just the best way i can think of to put it. Like being in the deep waters of a lake and something touches your leg or foot or hand.... never swam faster than that... well i don't know that my feet even touch the ground until i was 10 feet away. I always wondered if i could fly, and now i know that i can..kind of. It was the most terrifying experience of my existence. If you're anything like me (financially), you can't afford an exterminator for $800-$1,500. So you buy this, hoping to make things better at home. "Where did they come from? Who brought them to my house? Was it when i went to that place? Were they just in the walls? Did it come from the neighbor? Maybe it came with my package in the mail..." The questions are continuously unanswered and always will be, while you internally freak out, skin crawling relentlessly where there are no bugs to be found. Inspecting every item of clothing before wear, garbage bags full of your personal belongings waiting to be treated or washed surround you, sweat rolling as you are obsessed with the torture of turning every single thing you own damn near inside out to inspect and potentially treat and/or separate, sofa and furniture included..... And then comes some relief. The round receptacles have stopped revealing scouts attempting to locate the human which has been filling their nostrils for the past month, no more actual insects located in the bedding, under your pillow, no more colonies of the little monsters, 15, 45, 25, all within two square inches of the seam on your leather that happened to not be 100% fastened down, or where it happens to wrinkle. They're dead! But you know there are more, waiting for you to go to sleep. You keep your bedding from touching the floor, you wonder if they'll crawl up your leg and into bed with you, can i sit on the couch with my feet touching the floor? Are they in my shoes? What about my car??? THEY PROBABLY ARE BUT they are dwindling away because you've treated every seam and crevice with Eco Raider and it's resulted in multitudes of dead bugs. The ones that you do find, more and more seldomly, aren't glowing with the color of your blood. No longer will they be able to release their painkiller into your skin as they saw and cut their way down to the mini vessel and fill up the old crimson tank. Eco Raider Bed Bug Killer doesn't really smell like pine as advertised, it smells more like boiled eggs de minte to me honestly, but the scent is not completely unpleasant and it doesn't make the place uninhabitable. Trust me, it's worth-it. You can do this, you can get through it. Just be persistent, treat the same areas at least 3 times, along with every other area a minimum of twice. You want results? Never want them back again? Then put in the work, and the time that it requires, which is a whole lot of time that you simply do not have but must dedicate nevertheless. Separate ALL of your clothing into plastic bags, take it all to the laundry mat and do super washes and super high heat dry's. Throw those bags away, put your clean clothes in new bags or baskets and keep them free of the possibility of being contaminated. I treated one room and then dedicated it to treated items. It's annoying but it is necessary unless you pay for the extermination professionally. Go through everything you own that is an individual item on the floor, or around the floor on furniture, and thoroughly inspect and treat all cracks, wrinkles & crevices and Eco Raider will not only kill them, but it will keep them away from that area, continuously limiting their areas to inhabit. Those little bastards can literally live and make a home anywhere and on virtually anything, but one thing is certain: It is always out of your immediate sight, always in the darkness, and always always always near where you sleep. They moved in under my couch in multiple areas, in between the backs and the bottoms, under the ottoman, freaking everywhere! I'm almost done with the process using Eco Raider and simply using the couch feet receptacles that trap them, i figure a third treatment should do the trick, a full, overturning all furniture and treating all and all baseboards, etc. treatment. Soon i'll abandon my treated home and bomb it with like 5 of those foggers, and then i'll just hope for the best. Keeping the receptacles afterwards and forever. They are simply the very best indicator that bugs are attempting to access you the only possible way they can, by climbing up the feet of your bed or couch. Do not give them a bridge! Good luck, buy Eco Raider, there is nothing better. Those scary little bugs won't know what hit them, and they usually die like NOW when you spray them. Or they suffer, which makes me very happy. Update - some 4 years later? Turns out they came from a motel I stayed at with my kiddo on our way to a timeshare my employer gifted me for several days, on the WA State coast. Eco Raider did work. They all died. My skin crawled here and there for the next year or so. I must have switched on the lights a hundred times. And checked in the new couch with a flash light a thousand times, to catch one of them. I remember sitting at work, finding 2 on my shirt that I'd gotten from my closet, from a hanger. I wound up calling 1-800-GOT-JUNK and tossing my recliner over the 2nd story railing, along with the sectional. I moved out a month later and left 2 boxes of kids toys packed up for 8 months in order to wait out the possible lifespan of the bugs. Yes, it's true. They can survive in one place, unmoving, without new blood, for up to a YEAR. Why God? Why..... Anyways, i unpacked those 2 boxes over 8 months later on the living room floor in the new place. That night, I found 2 survivors, on the wall, not 2 feet from my face, just sitting there, unable to get to me. Just one second of blood sucking and they begin to reproduce... They were flat as paper, weak, barely alive. But alive enough to crawl 5 feet UP a wall following the scent of my blood. Bed bugs are the most resilient creatures I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. Even able to withstand a full wash and dry on high heat. Unbelievable. To think.. if my car had not blown a tire, we never would have had to stay at that motel. We would have awoken to the sound of breaking waves instead. I'll never forget that terrible experience.
