Just installed this with no issues. I swear that I'll never buy a gate valve ever again. They always fail at the when you need them the most. This has dual quarter turn ball valves which work perfectly for under my kitchen sink. In my case I had dual port gate valve servicing the hot lines to my faucet and dishwasher that failed trying to shut it off when I had to replace the faucet. Got this to individually control the 2 lines. In the process of turning off the hot water supply I found that the supply gate valve to my water was also failing. I'll add that to my to do list. The only challenge installing is getting a good grip with your wrench when you're tightening down the compression fitting. Buying another one of these for the cold supply line. Before purchasing, verify that there is sufficient clearance to for your tubing and access to the individual valves.

When you need a dual valve stop valve, they can get pricey. These on Amazon save a few bucks compared with the ones at the plumbing supply or big box store. However, these are the best solution when you have more than one fixture or appliance connected to the water source in your cabinet. For instance the kitchen sink faucet and the dishwasher to the hot water supply, or the kitchen sink faucet and a filtered water dispenser to the cold water supply. Using a less expensive single shutoff valve with two output connections (sometimes called a "Y" stop valve) is not ideal because if one of the two connected devices has to be shut off, then both have to be shut off. For instance if the dishwasher has to be repaired or replaced, and you have a single shutoff valve, then you have to turn off the hot water to both the dishwasher and the sink faucet. These dual valve stop valves solve that issue, in that they allow you to turn off one connected fixture or appliance at a time.... These are quarter turn ball valves, so it eliminates the problematic rubber washer used on the slightly cheaper older-style multi-turn stop valves.

Bought a reverse osmosis system for under sink and had flow issues on the cold water faucet because the T-connector they supplied wasn't the best designed. Removed the old multi-turn angle stop and put one of these babies on. This resolved the flow issues instantly. Worked so well I bought another to replace the 30 year old double multi-turn valve on the hot water side which feeds the faucet and the dishwasher. Unexpectedly, it actually increased the flow on the hot water as well. It's like having a new faucet for me! So not only is it easy to shut things off with the quarter turn valves, the inner design gives both valves unrestricted water flow when open. Highly recommend this product. Install tips: 1. If you already have an existing compression connection, most likely you'll need a "ferrule puller", search that or see item: B0BF52VGCN to get the old one off. 2. If you are hooking this up to a reverse osmosis system with a 3/8 inch plastic input hose, you'll need a "plastic ferrule" or see item: B008E5D1KY rather than the included metal ferrule. 3. If you ever remove your reverse osmosis system or are not going to use a valve, then get a "3/8 compression cap" or item B08MFTQ7Q8 to close off the valve, in addition to shutting that valve off.
