This is what everyone needs, since nearly all humans in the west are low on Iodine. I'm now on day 2 of taking it and feeling better already!

I am nearly finished with my Lugol's Iodine solution. I chose this brand because it's pharma grade quality and it's 100ml which provides months of iodine support. It comes in a very protective cardboard cylinder. The iodine container is dark glass and not plastic which is good as iodine should be protected from light exposure. I just store it back in the cylinder to maintain its effectiveness. This solution is pure iodine with no added sugar at 2.2 strength. Diluted with a few drops of water makes its very palatable under the tongue. The iodine is top quality, affordable and does the job! I would recommend this brand to my family and friends.

purchase of this product in the past is stellar results... due to transit damage due to this being a very necessary glass bottle and dropper: the tip cracked off and was floating in the bottom and the bottle was leaking inside the tube. In any case making this unusable since the dropper is glass! seller made it right. Will purchase time and time again. Read up on all the health benefits of this product! life saving for me and mine!

I had read about this on line . It looked like it was something that would benefit me. It was new to me. When it got here I noticed there were no instructions or recommendations. So like an idiot I thought because it has a dropper it's probably for putting it under your tongue. WELL THAT WAS A MISTAKE. it tasted awful and left a burning sensation in my mouth and the taste lasted for hours. I tried everything to get rid of the taste but it was strong. Anyway I had to look up instructions on how to use it. Everything is fine now and I believe it's making a difference. It's a little early to tell for sure. As a note I bought it because my thyroid was over active years ago so radiation killed it and now I am on levothyroxin the rest of my life. Things haven't been the same since. My hopes is this stuff will make a difference.

*Update 3* - I could be having the issues stated in update 2 due to low Iron/B12, I will come back and update again. * Update 2 * - For me, it looks like I took Lugol's iodine a tad long, without proper selenium intake. It caused me to have a a bit of a swollen tongue and receding of the white parts ( lunula ) of my 2 of my finger nail beds. I will now supplement with capsules of iodine, 400mcg daily with 100-200mcg of selenium as well. Some people can take large amounts of Lugol's iodine, like said, without issue. It ooks like I am not one of them. If you decide to take this, please be aware of my issues and monitor yourself. * Update 1 * - I now orally take 2 drops daily, mixed in 4oz reverse osmosis water. It has given me so much energy, I really feel like a new person. I know some people take more then this but the amount I take, is considered very high. The recommended daily amount is 150 micrograms (mcg). That minimal amount is the amount, to basically not develop a goiter. If you do not take large amounts, I would suggest you take about 400mcg at least. If you decide to take around 400mcg, you can buy capsules. Some people cannot take large amounts of iodine due to Thyroid issues. When you take iodine, make sure you have selenium in your diet such as: Beef,Eggs,Milk and if you stay away from animal products, Brazil Nuts. I personally eat 2 Brazil nuts daily and eat 4 eggs. You can also buy selenium capsules. Make sure to research before you take Lugol's Iodine orally! Iodine kills parasites as well, another positive effect to taking iodine orally. Once again, please research before taking orally, it is YOUR BODY. Great product/quality. This worked perfectly to test if I was iodine deficienct at home. If you are curious, do some research on the ' Lugol's Iodine Deficiency test ' . The iodine put near my wrist, disappeared in about 6-7 hrs. This seems to have indicted I was moderately deficient. Hard to know without lab tests but this seems about right. I have hardly any iodine in my diet.

Requested the 3rd party lab analysis paperwork. This product is really clean. Lead is super low, the lowest I've seen in comparable products this year, and by scientific standards. This is the 5th product of Iodine solution I bought this year on Amazon and all - quite respected brands, including USDA organic - came back with intolerable lead concentrations. 5 times I tried but now my family has a clean product to consume. I've ordered and taken various Lugol's solutions, most are fine. I ordered Heiltropfen because it came in a 3.4 oz bottle and it offered value. The quality? Top notch in every way. This is 2.2%, about 2.77 mg of total iodine per vertical drop according to their website. Very dark liquid, no flavor that I can taste. I've researched much about our need for iodine and how though most of it is stored in thyroid, organs and skin, etc. need it and we do not manufacture our own iodine. We must get it via our diet or supplementation such as this Lugol's. I take 2 - 3 drops daily, that is just MY personal choice. I am aware some doctors claim 12.5 mg is best, but I stick at around 6mg daily 6 days a week, then take a day off. I do that with all our supplements, take one day off per week again, just our choice. I recommend this brand iodine Lugol's Solution 2.2%. Their name is quality and this size bottle is a great value.

The Lugols Iodine came well packaged, delivered promptly. It appears to me this is now the max. strength readily available.

Ich habe den Artikel sehr schnell erhalten, was völlig unerwartet war. Er war gut verpackt und der Schaumstoff war fest. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. 2%-iges Lugol-Jod ist eine sehr preiswerte Jodlösung mit großem Fassungsvermögen. Es erfordert jedoch einige Mühe, es zu bekommen, und der Stopfen ist ziemlich dicht.
