There is some incorrect information in a few of these reviews. To clarify.... the manufacturer says that this is a low molecular weight form of hyuloronic acid. Which makes sense as right on the front packaging.... it is called sodium hyaluronate, which is known as a lower molecular weight hyaluronic acid. The lower the weight.... the deeper the penetration into the skin.... the higher the weight, the more superficial the effects. "And depending on the molecular weight, the effect on the skin varies as well. Such that, hyaluronic acid with low molecular weight (LMW-HA), also known as sodium hyaluronate, easily absorbs and penetrates the deepest layers of your skin. This means low molecular weight Hyaluronic acid (LMW-HA) provides intense moisture and sustained hydration deep in the skin. The effect of sodium hyaluronate can plump the skin and reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. As the hyaluronic acid molecule gets bigger and the molecular weight higher, hyaluronic acid thus remains closer to the surface of the human skin. A high molecular weight Hyaluronic acid (HMW-HA) delivers the most visible results, but with a shorter life-span. And, the results can be washed away with a simple face cleansing." I also found at least one study showing that a lower molecular weight hyaluronic acid showed a statistically significant improvement in knee joint pain. I am no doctor... so I can't really recommend anything, but... What I can say, from my own personal experience... that it has done for me, after taking 1/8 tsp twice a day for about 3 weeks (dissolved in 1/4 cup water moving quickly with a small wisk as I very ... very slowly sprinkle it in and then drink it.... I feel like a new person... any joint pain is for all intents and purposes, gone.... my dry eyes are dramatically improved.... my acid reflux is basically gone! I'm not sure about my skin yet... it's only been about 3 weeks (the main study I reviewed showed results after 12 weeks) but I couldn't be happier... I am thrilled!

As a nearly 40-year old woman, my skin has been through the ringer: from years without wearing sunscreen to a facial cleansing routine that took a long time to get right--the skin on my poor face has been through a lot. Now, to be fair, I was, admittedly, a bit skeptical about this product, but after A TON of science-based research, I felt confident to make the purchase and create my own product. I've been using my own non-commercial 1% hyaluronic acid serum daily for months and, folks, I see results. My pores don't appear as large as they were before I integrated this into my routine, my skin looks and feels more plump, and I, well, like what I see when I look in the mirror (I'm kicking myself for not taking before and after photos). I'm fine not wearing any concealer or foundation during the day and I have fewer wrinkles (though, in all honesty, wrinkles don't scare me. Aging gracefully is an agreement I've made with myself, wrinkles are welcome). So, what's the secret? Well, it's understanding that this product in itself doesn't create the entire change; it's a host of habit changes. Let's not forget that skin health begins from the inside. Also, keep in mind that this is only making changes on the surface. This can't penetrate deeper layers of the skin--only biology and fillers can do that. From my understanding, this lasts 24-36 hours on the skin, hence the daily ritual. If you're interested, do your own thorough research, make individual changes that suit you, and have fun with it. And should you decide to make a serum for yourself, PLEASE use a safe preservative. Bacteria love water, so don't take any risks. I hope others enjoy as much as I have!

Great quality product

The inside package was open and when I opened the outside package it went all over me like a cloud. The manufacturer contacting me within 12 hours and told me to contact Amazon and I did and the immediately refunded me for the product. I had just enough to make a small jar of it and have been putting it on my skin not taking it intentionally which you can do but I can’t with medical conditions so far I like the product, I had no reaction to it and my skin is starting to feel less dry and itch. Anyways I’ll probably be buying some more. Oh and it does not dissolve easily. I put mine in a ball jar and shook it pretty hard and there were still clumps in it. But I just let it sit for a couple of hours and it worked it self out.

This substance, whatever it is, was sticky on your skin. Didn’t mix well to begin with and certainly didn’t do anything to my skin. I have used this substance premixed and it was amazing. Couldn’t return it so that’s nice. Eat the cost with no produced. So glad I can donate money to you.

No fillers. This dissolves well in water by simply placing powder on top of water, not stirring, and letting sit a few hours. Perfectly mixed. If you don’t have time to wait then mix with hand stick blender or stir with glycerin like the package says. I bought for drinking however I now use this in my skincare serum formulas because of the low price. It is a higher weight but does absorb through skin just slower. Go with another higher weight for instant absorption of skin but this one is far less expensive and customers won’t notice in a lotion.

It's hard to write this review because I'm not very consistent with taking HA. I've had the same packet for years and it's still holding up well. No growth, odor, clumps, nothing. I've noticed no side effects to it and no taste. It DOES obviously have a texture (if you're familiar with HA products), and if you don't like a slimy texture, then make sure you blend it super well in enough water to avoid it. I've mostly used room temperature or cool/cold water, but haven't tried to blend it with hot. I haven't noticed any major benefits for pain relief or joint health yet, but it's at least easy to use.
