Old Spice Classic Cologne Spray 4.25 oz

Smells exactly like the old bottles that my granddad used to use and my father in law used. My husband is very happy though also very emotional given it smells like his dad but smells so good. Lasted about 3 hours which is pretty good. Makes an amazing small gift or stocking filler. Very much value for money given it's the classic scent.

Bought for Dad but love the smell

There weren't a lot of men's fragrances around in the early 60s, not that I could afford anyway. I was in Sixth Form College so had to rely on the handouts from my mummy and daddy. But Old Spice was one of them I could afford but I remember it being a rather heavier scent than it is now. This is because when the company was taken over years ago they did a new formulation and that's the problem. Don't get me wrong it's rather nice it's a bit light when you first spray it on but give it 15 minutes to evaporate a bit and you are left with quite rich Aromatics it's very difficult to describe I'm not a perfume expert and it's all subjective anyway. On your skin it might linger for two or three hours if you're lucky. At its price it's down at the cheap end of men's fragrances isn't it so it's a mass market cheap product these days in a plastic bottle whereas years ago it had a rather classy pottery or glass bottle doesn't matter which as the plastic feels horrible in comparison. Apparently the version manufactured in India is rather closer to the original 1938 version from Shulton. If it were two or three times stronger I would think more of it because it is certainly pleasant but again it's so subjective you may think it's horrible. It's staying power compared with say de toilet or Parfum strength of much more expensive male fragrances is not very good it just disappears relatively quickly but you're getting what you pay for because some of my other fragrances are rather expensive shall we say over a £100 whereas this is just a tiny fraction of that. A blast from the past although a somewhat subdued one

Just as expected. The good Old Spice fragrance is still alive. I love it.

Lovely classic smell, poor longevity

Great smell but only lasts couple of hours

Its not as expected, old spice after shave smell used to be something different

This is a very good men’s cologne, although it’s been around for a long time it retains a lovely fragrance and is excellent value for money I would recommend
