Product does not work. I purchased this when I began my PA program and from the get go it has not turned on whatsoever. I’ve changed the batteries out multiple times and it has never shined a light while using it making it useless. While the price was fair, unfortunately this is one of those items that you would need to splurge on for it to actually be functional. Can’t recommend this product

I owned a Welch Allyn for several years, it was great but having to recharge it constantly was a pain. This battery powered kit is much more convenient, smaller and more portable. Light is dim? Just throw in some new batteries rather than letting it charge for an hour before it's usable like the Welch Allyn. The otoscope lens also swings out of the way to provide access for forceps, etc. in case you ever need to retrieve a foriegn body. Overall the kit's quality is on par with the Welch Allyn, and is a fraction of the price. I really like this kit, the Xenon bulbs are very bright and the battery life is good. Very happy with it!

Put it together, testing it out, was getting hot in my hand. Husband checked it, it has a short in the electrical. Totally useless. Missed the return window unfortunately. I bought it for $99 buy now it's in the mid $200's. If you decide to get this as something that kinda has to work, test it before hand and return promptly.

It is cheap, looks cheaper & a lot smaller than regular Welch Allyn, but I am okay with it. Not as bright as WA brand, but it still works. I like that the disposable ear pieces are compatible with WA (which I can use the ones at the offices without buying new ones), and this one uses AA batteries.

. Can’t view anything for the ear the scope isn’t enough. You can use common pieces found at doctors offices or classrooms for. It’s only good for eye exams I wish I can recommend a better one but the prices very high for these things. It’s good enough to get through ur class.

It works amazing

The light isn’t bright enough to do an ophthalmic exam so basically it’s an otoscope only.

I like the set. The otoscope magnifies the eardrum and I am able to visualize without difficulty. I would have rated a five but the company missed up my order and it took them nearly a month to get this product to me. I needed it for school and it did not come in time :(
