This can be used under the bonnet, ensure the bonnet is clean, dry and grease free prior to application. Ensure the material is not touching any hot metal components in the engine bay when the bonnet is closed.

How much to cover sprinter LWB

This is not the most efficient way to purchase to cover a large van, consider larger bulk rolls instead. You would need well over 130 sheets (20sq.m) to do a LWB Sprinter.

Hi could this be used inside the house ? On a bedroom wall with soundblock gyproc ?

While it certainly can be used in a home environment, this product is designed and sized for vehicle use. It is therefore probably cut into too many smaller tiles and you would be better advised to use a large roll or a higher density product like MLV for sandwiching behind platerboard.

Can it be used as insulation, without the sound deadening matts?

For best results we recommend applying a sound deadening mat first to remove vibration and resonance thoroughly. However this can be used on it's own too as an insulation to absorb heat and airbourne noise passing through a panel.

Seems to have done the job

I used this in combination with some silent coat sound deadening mat to reduce vibration on my door cards from the speakers which was annoying. Im not sure if it was the best stuff for the job or not but it seems to have worked. Its pretty easy to work with as you can cut it to shape with scissors although i found it to clog up the scissors a bit as the adhesive on the back is so sticky. its pretty expensive stuff but when it helps stop the irritating rattles its worth every penny.

Does what it should re sound deadening. It does stretch very slightly on application, not a problem unless you’re applying to a line. Didn’t notice any odour. Very happy with the product and delivery was very quick.
