JBL GTO938 6 x 9-Inch 3-Way Loudspeaker

Very Happy with the speaker. Installed in my FJ with the METRA bracket. On a stock Head unit without amp .

JEEPのファクトリースピーカーのリプレース用に入手しました。米国の6”×9”規格のものは国内メーカーは軒並み廃番となってしまい、同じJBLの日本発売のGTO939はフレームが大きすぎてリプレースできないということで、ネットの評判を見てこれを選びました。 湿気に強そうな樹脂製コーンと3ウェイの構成で、低音部が豊かで引き締まった音質になりました。

Ive installed these in my car & have my gains on the amp turned down They are paired with hertz 6.5 component speakers There has ben no issues with the hertz speakers but one jbl is completely blown and the other the voice coil is scratchy Ive had competition car stereo equipment in previous cars which were thrashed to death with no issues and these JBL speakers were never pushed hard Pretty disappointed

The JBL GTO939 GTO Series 6×9” 300W 3‑Way Car Speakers are an amazing upgrade for any car audio system. The sound is powerful and clear with deep bass and crisp highs, making music sound much more lively than stock speakers. Installation was straightforward, and they handle high volume without distortion. Great quality and performance—definitely worth it! 🔊🚗

I attempted to install these into my 2002 Chrysler Sebring 4dr sedan last week and they didn't fit (the space in the door was not deep enough and it kept rubbing against my window when I tried to roll it down). I started a return process but was still determined to make it fit (even though amazon showed that it would fit in my car) and noticed that spacers were available. The spacers (1/2") arrived today and I attempted to fit these in one last time before I followed through with the return process. The spaces didn't work either. I took one look at the factory speakers that I removed and noticed that they had their own spacer (with foam sealer) glued on to them and I managed to remove them from the factory speakers by using a heat gun to heat up the glue. Once I had the factory spacers separated from the stock speakers, I then used the spacers I bought (Metra 1/2") on top of the factory spacers and with a few adjustments with the screw holes, I managed to fit these in perfectly and cancelled my return! The sound quality is phenomenal, these are leaps and bounds better than my factory speakers and sound almost exactly like my $3,000 home theater system (mind you, I also replaced the rear speakers in my car with JBL GTO 939s), and these all work in perfect harmony! I'm a big fan of bass and I also look for good mids too and these deliver on all fronts! I highly recommend these and suggest that if you think these may be too big for your doors (like they were for me at first), look in to aftermarket spacers/adapters before you write these off, you won't regret it!
