Work Well, Very Good Value
These timers work very well, with a lot of flexibility. I only use them in a basic way โ two on/off cycles per day, seven days per week, and found them quite simple to set up. The instructions are in very small type, and so I scanned them and read them in a larger scale on a PC screen. Given that, as long as they are read systematically then set-up is straightforward. If the switch doesnโt work the way you expect, the instructions include a โTroubleshootingโ section that covers most of the likely problems and fixes. Detail points about this switch include: - Itโs rated at 3120 Watts, which should be ample for normal use. Some other switches I looked at were rated at around 2900W, which might be borderline for appliances such as room heaters - Itโs physically not too bulky. In particular, the display area of the front doesnโt project too far. Other switches Iโve used stick out far enough to prevent larger appliance plugs from fitting into the socket. - It can handle up to 20 on/off program cycles at a time, and has a range of functions โ countdown, random, etc. I havenโt tried these out as Iโve had no necessity for them, but I assume they work as advertised. - As a two-pack, itโs very good value for money. - Some of the items on the display are very small, and not easy to read in dim light. Once Iโd used it a few times, I could recognise what was being displayed by its position (e.g. โonโ and โoffโ appear in different places). All in all, I like these and would recommend them.

They seem to work well but time will tell how long they last
I have a hybrid car which I charge off a 13A socket. I have an EV tariff that applies between 00.30 and 5.30 in the morning. Although my car has it's own charge timer and should be charging during those hours, my electricity supplier was still charging for full-price electricity. I put a mechanical timer in the circuit and that solved the problem. Although the timer was rated at 13A (I charge at 10A) it burned out in a couple of months. I have bought these which are rated at 13A, 3,120 watt (the circuit is delivering about 2,200 watt at 10A). I'm hoping that the clock on these is a bit more accurate than the mechanical clock on my old one and that they don't burn out so quickly. They were fairly easy to set up though I did make one mistake - the instruction manual says that, for the timer to work, you need to set the plug to "auto". In auto mode there are two choices "auto on" and "auto off". I assumed that I need to set it in "auto on" but that actually over rides auto. For the timer to work they need to be set in "auto off".

These solved a cold office issue!
Great timer plugs for turning lights or heaters on and off at home or work. I bought a 2 pack for the office where I work, so the oil filled radiators can come on 2 hrs before anyone arrives. They are easy to set up, programmable, instructions are included. They do the job, we aren't freezing all morning waiting for the heating to kick in, compared to before when we got in at 9am and the office was cold enough to be a morge. These have made so much difference to the working environment!

Does what I wanted
I had been looking for a "timer" but previously accidentally ordered devices that are actually "timing" devices which turn things on/off based on the time of day. I just wanted a device that would cut the power to my air dryer after a set amount of time e.g. a timer, like an egg timer. Luckily this device can be switched to a "countdown timer" mode that does just exactly that, so I am happy after testing it works. It defaults to a timing mode so you can have power come on/off based on the time of day if that is what you want, but it's worth knowing it can also act as a simple timer to allow power to be cut after a set amount of time has passed. My only criticism of the device is that the display is quite small, and only visible straight on, so you are not going to be able to program it whilst it is plugged into a wall socket near your feet. Luckily it runs on a battery, so you can program it in your hands, and then just plug it in to let it run.
