Weighted Flexi-Straw Cup - Colors May Vary

This is the second Munchkin weighted straw cup we've purchased for our 8 month old daughter. She doesn't do great with sippy cups, I think the water comes out a little too fast and she is EBF, so a little more used to a slow flow. These are great because she can suck the straw at her own pace, and it actually requires some suction to get the water up the straw (similar to breastfeeding). I wondered if she would be able to figure out how a straw even works, she figured it out in the first 3.5 minutes we offered it to her. Now she loves it, and has to hold it herself. So much better than traditional sippy cups.

These cups are good for babies that begin to use cups early. My little guy was an early walker at 8 months, so this cup was perfect he could drink from it at any angle. We only use it for water, so I will warn it does leak a little, but no problem for us.

My 21 month daughter has been drinking from this for a few months now. She loves that she can easily hold the bottle and sit/lay down and drink her milk due to the weighted straw.it does tend to leak from the top of the straw at times which is annoying. Also the straw is a pain to clean since you have to take off the weight to get a good clean.

These cups are truly amazing!! It is super easy to teach your little one to drink from a straw with these cups. You simply blow into the straw and the liquid then starts to come out of the top of the straw and you can put immediately into baby's mouth and thy quickly learn to suck on the straw. Not to mention if they tilt it back the straw still works...which I guess is the real purpose of this cup. But it's a perfect transition from the bottle.

Ordered this cup in blue for the price but got pink, which was fine because it's for my daughter. I'm not sure why this came as a different color in the shipment, but it worked out for us. These cups are amazing. Even the ladies at daycare rave about them because they rarely leak as opposed to traditional cups. The weighted straw is fantastic. Definitely recommend!!

So I have 2 of these. 1 works great and I love, the other leaks everywhere. It kind of sucks because these really are a great idea. But with 1 working and the other not working I don't want to buy more and have them leak.

My little one might take a sip or two out of a sippy cup before moving on, but he loves straws. Using this cup, I can get him to drink a lot more than I can out of a sippy cup. It is also awesome in the car. I have occasionally seen it leak out of the straw when it is folded over and closed, but I only use water in this cup, so it doesn't bother me. I don't want to have to deal with the cleaning nightmare of cleaning milk or juice out of the straw and everything on a regular basis.

Very difficult for my 16 month old to use because you have to suck very hard in order to get the liquid. I threw this cup away almost immediately.

We have had this product for about 1 year now and it my sons go to cup. Great product, comes with one sippy cup. I purchased two one being the green and the other a blue. So, I have read past reviews and have read people mentioning that one of the cups (pink) was harder to suck liquid out of. There is a simple fix for that: I also had a similar issue with the blue cup that came with my purchase. However with each sippy cup comes with a straw that has bristles for cleaning the tube in case you have something lodged into it. Simply remove the tube from the holder and thread the bristle straw through the mouth side of the tube. After a few passes you will notice that it will weaken the membrane in the tube which will allow easier suction. Tada! fixed! Now on to why I like this product: Its the weighted straw piece which is so smart. Traditional straight straw cups lose suction of liquid when the liquid goes less then the tipping point of the cup which causes the child to suck up air and at the end of the day resulting in a tummy ache. Having the tube having a weighted end allows it to move freely around with the liquid even when the cup is tilted or held upside down. I have provided pictures to explain (What sucks is that the straight straw Thermos Foogo cup cost me $17.99 and the Munchkin Click Lock cup cost me less than $8.00). This item has been cleaned every night in boiling water and shows no signs of wearing down. The silicon straw is still intact and being that it is BPA-free is something less to worry. This is a super smart idea and is a no brainier to purchase

Best sippy cup in the market. Baby can drink by holding cup in any direction. Works till the last drop of liquid. Comes with straw brush which is a bonus.
