They are Jackhammer bit they are built to self destruct that being said they last longer than their competitors so I far as I'm concerned they're a good product

Bosch rep incorrect???
I purchased the Bosch HS2164 chisel and the Xtremepower jackhammer [on Amazon]. Bosch states "the HS2164 is universally manufactured to be used in hammers that accept 1 1/8 hex shank." The Xtremepower jackhammer "accepts" [and is sold with] 1 1/8 inch shank [diameter]. The Bosch chisel does NOT fit into the Xtremepower jackhammer slot. It is too big. The chisel is strong, as expected but can't be used with the Xtremepower hammer I ordered and rec'd. The Bosch rep [in Amazon reviews] should indicate that the Bosch chisel will not always fit into 1 1/8 shank, as with the Xtremepower jackhammer. The "misinformation" provided by Bosch rep should be corrected so that buyers do not purchase item that is incorrect and so that item does not have to be returned/mailed at the cost of Amazon. If I'm wrong, let me know and I will correct my mistake. One star is given not because chisel [with its' 1 1/8 inch diameter] is inferior in any way but because the chisel does not fit into the 1 1/8 inch shank of the Xtremepower jackhammer. The two "tips" [2-inch chisel & point] I rec'd with Xtremepower jackhammer are 1 1/8 inch and fit perfectly. I will request return of Bosch HS2164.

I used it to clean wood out of 3.5" sq concrete post hole. It achieved the objective of removing big chunks that did not yield to 1" wide crow bars. This was the worst hole to clean. The easiest were so rotted that screwdriver to loosened the fibers, and shop vac to cleaned out. About 20 minutes to clean hole and drive in new post.
